Super easy to use and lasts way longer than expected

Quite pricey but only used a 1/2 a pint to hand rub the case on my my restored antique piano. Did not leave a high sheen just a natural protected wood type finish. As far as odor, it had a natural seed type odor versus a toxic chemical smell, which is why I opted for this in the first place.

Three coats of the linseed oil & beeswax combo with a soft cloth, light sanding between oats after 24 hours. Added a lot of depth & shimmer to the butcher block acacia wood. No Polyurethane at this time as not using the bar that often & don’t mind rubbing on a light coat periodically.

I’m just getting into woodworking, so take this as you will, but this is the best, most versatile finish I’ve found so far. It is easy to apply. It pairs nicely with a plain paste wax. It elevates the colour of your piece (adding a distinctly warm tone) without radically changing the colour. I even like the smell.
