Quality, extremely easy to install, functions very well

Love it.
This has a high-end finish (on Eurostyle Cosmopolitan sIngle-handle Pressure valve trim). It is solid metal, with an excellent chrome finish--I got the shiny chrome. It feels solid, and moves smooth as butter.

Nice style, but just cosmetic. Did not come with hardware to install.

We own vacation rentals and I purchased this for 2 ...
We own vacation rentals and I purchased this for 2 different houses, and it's been nothing but problems. It may not totally be the fault of Grohe, but people try to lift up on the handle instead of turning it and it breaks. Some of the parts attaching the handle inside are plastic. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on plumbers fixing and finally replacing these, not to mention all the headaches and time.

buying a problem?
Clearly this is an internal design flaw. The outside looks sleek, clean and modern but unfortunately as the other review validated, the plastic parts inside do not hold long and will break. It cannot be denied that its due to the poor engineering and design but good finish of the product. I highy recommend you do not get this.

** Read This Before Ordering - No Cartridge & Not for the Newer Valve 3.0 **
First, all Grohe products are superior. Period. You will be happy. BUT THIS PART NUMBER IS FOR JUST THE HANDLE/TRIM. It is not for a new installation requiring a Cartridge. ** I made this mistake myself. Also, this is compatible with the older valve, not the EcoSafe 3.0 Valves. I wish that Amazon would take off the 'Amazon Choice' from this Kit as it causes people (like me) to assume it is the Full Trim Kit. It is not. The details on item should call this out more clearly.
