I like bees more. Sorry.
It really helped the roses to grow and bloom, without any insects. But then I read that it was harmfull to bees. And I like and need bees more. Sorry !

GOOD PRODUCT (BUT READ THE LABEL!)
I had previously purchased the Bayer 2-in1 systemic in a 10 lb. jug in 2024 and ordered this 5 lb. jug this spring (2025). I thought I was purchasing the exact same product, but was surprised to find that the chemical formulations are completely different, as well as the dosing instructions. The 10 lb. jug product's dose was 1/2 cup per rose bush, every 6 weeks. This 5 lb. jug's instructions are 1 capful per rose bush (2 oz.) every 8 weeks. My advice is to READ THE LABEL to find out which product you are dealing with. Other than that, I think the product does a great job with controlling thrips and aphids, which are the main problems where I live. I also make sure my roses get a lot of compost, fish emulsion, and organic nutrients as well, in order to combat the potential harsh effects of the chemicals.

Best stuff!
Put around my bug attacked rose bysh and bugs disappeared and the leaves starting coming back. Now have a nice full plant again with lots of blooms.

Use a hacksaw
I have bought this product twice this spring. It is reasonably priced and works as advertised. However, removing the top, both times, was impossible for me. After studying the problem for a few minutes, I used a hacksaw to remove the locking tabs on the top. This was quick and very easy to do and did not damage the top. Problem solved.
