Serious issues with Bluetooth!
This is an excellent product, but has serious Bluetooth problems. Do a search on-line for "AA-230 Bluetooth problem" Either it won't connect or keeps dropping the connection when more than about 6 feet away. The idea of the Bluetooth connection is to monitor in real time, the data from the AA-230 so adjustments can be made when near to the antenna.Even when the connection is stable, packets are dropped which cause issues with the data received. The cable connection works fine. Rigexpert do not seem to be interested in finding a fix for this. According to user groups, most people do not even get a reply from tech support at RE.This is not a cheap buy, and customers deserve better support!
