I’ve never used a device such as this before. I am happy to say that this device was fairly easy to install and it worked from the get-go however, I had to remove it because the switch that I was using performed the exact same task that this device does, but would not work with that switch. I would recommend purchasing the switch or this device because it is everything that they claim it is.

More compact than 2 regular relays
This product did exactly what I was looking for. I upgraded to power fold mirrors and wanted to reverse the motors (fold) them when I removed keyed power. I did have to install an additional relay to toggle between keyed and constant power attached to the forward and reverse leads respectively but this little box did the polarity switching for me. Keep in mind the (-) is pass through and you connect it to the (F) or (R) lead to choose direction usually with a toggle switch(s) In my situation this will be in constant use. It has an led that tells you what direction it is in (red = forward / green = reverse) which as far as I can tell for the 12v/10a model is a 30ma draw, a little high but hopefully manageable. Hope this helps
