ELABEST Office Chair Ergonomic Desk Chair, Swivel Task Chair with Adjustable Armrest, Soft Sponge Cushion, Lumbar Support, Mid Back Mesh Computer Chair

Working from home we needed two office chairs to support both me and my wife. We decided to do a test, buy one from the local "office supply" store and one from Amazon in the same price range. We waited for this Elabest chair to arrive before we unboxed and assembled the chairs. First thing I noticed was both were boxed very well, taking out the parts we found that the Elabest parts seemed to be of better quality such as the locations where bolts are fastened, metal instead of plastic on the locally purchased one. And a welcomed surprise, well executed instructions in English that are clearly written and well translated (how long since you have seen this?). Elabest provides extra bolts as well in case you lose one. Assembly was very simple and quick for two reasons, 1) the parts fit together exactly with the assembly areas on the chair well executed, 2) as mentioned before the instructions are one of the best better than the instructions provided with the locally purchased chair. Now for the quality, once assembled the chair feels very sturdy and comfortable, the seat pad is of a high quality foam much better than the locally purchased chair and can easily support 200+ pounds, the locally purchased chair did not have the same quality cushion as the Elabest chair. Overall every thing works well and we find that the Elabest chair is easily the better quality chair for the price. We recommend this chair for it's comfort, quality, instructions and ease of assembly, we are very satisfied with this chair.

The lumbar support is very similar to most desk chairs. But what separates this desk chair from all others I have tried is the firmness of the seat cushion and the springy back, which forces me to sit up straight. I read some other reviews about the way the chair back pushes you forward too much, and when I first assembled the chair I was ready to send it back because of that. But it turns out that the tension can easily be adjusted by turning the big knob on the bottom of the chair counter-clockwise. I did that, and now it's perfect! I also loved the fact that this chair was SO easy to assemble: very clear instructions, the screws were grouped in two separate bags, and everything was clearly labelled. The chair arms are not cushioned at all, just hard plastic, but their height is adjustable, so I was able to set them at a height that will fit under my desk.

The chair parts came well-packed, the instructions were easy to read and looked very professional. The assembly was simple for the most part, except I found that the armrests should probably be installed before installing the seat plate. Otherwise the seat plate's lever gets in the way of installing the right-side armrest. I also had to switch the left- and right-labeled armrests after installing them, otherwise they would have been backwards. But they feel good so far after doing so. The chair feels great and supportive, except the seat cushion could stand to be longer since I felt pushed to the edge of it by the back rest. This was alleviated by engaging the tilt (rocking) functionality. I would say the chair is a great buy for the price so far. Email customer service is responsive, but I was never answered about if I need to register my product for the 12 month warranty. But, the materials do say to email them during the warranty period in case of any issues, so I guess that's how it works.

I got this chair as a replacement to my “gaming” chair and could not be any happier, only paying about $20 more for this chair, I get better support and better comfort for my back and butt. I mistakenly bought a high back gaming chair when initially starting WFH because I thought it was cool but boy was I wrong. After a few months in my butt started aching and my back was killing me. I eventually had to buy a butt cushion and stuff a pillow behind my back to make it through the work day. With this new chair, the cushion is much thicker, a little stiffer but you just have to break it in a bit and my back and posture feel amazing, not only working but when gaming too. Overall really pleased with the feel and look of this chair, not to mention the assembly which took about 30 min.

Wasn’t packed the greatest. Easy to assemble but my seat rest had one of the holes where a screw would connect the back rear to stripped on arrival. Was only able to screw in 3/4 of the screws necessary for assembly. If there was a way to contact these people I’d ask for a replacement seat rest because unfortunately it’s not worth it to return this at this point so I’m stuck with it. It’s fine, but I don’t fully trust it from falling apart due to this defect. Will probably invest in a better chair when I can. My advice would be just spend more money. You definitely get what you pay for with this chair.

I saw some negative comments about how their chair did not adjust ... not sure what that is about because I can adjust my chair's height up and down as well as the arms. The back is not going to adjust due to its ergonomic properties which, to me, would defeat its purpose anyway!This was quick to assemble and the seat to me is comfortable too. It is firm but does have "sponginess" so your rear does not get sore (or perhaps it is because my butt fat is distributed properly for maximum comfort?) LOL who knows? All I can say is that this works for me ... AND I adjusted the arms so that my chair scoots under the desk and the arms above it to maximize my office space when not in use.
