My 8 year old son saved up some money and wanted to spend it. His dad said he can't spend it unless he has a wallet to store it in. My boy gave me $5 to buy him a wallet and he picked this one. I used to have these style wallets as a child so I knew what I was ordering. It is a thin wallet and holds cash real well. No space for coins which is a tad bit of a bummer, but I knew that before I ordered it. You can put your kids school ID if he has one in there. Also space for your child's library card! If your kid has medical needs, I don't see why you couldn't put a card stating those needs in case of an emergency either. Great little wallet.My son loves it. He brought his new wallet and money to school and promptly spent $5 on a iPhone 6 case. He doesn't have an iPhone. Ah, life lessons... But hey, it was a nice case! I'm sure the kids mom is mad he sold that nice case for so little!He plans on further saving up his money to get a play yard for his pet bunnies. He's only down $10 so he's doing pretty good.

used it for a young boy's gift

I have three nephews and they love their new Army Camo wallets. They are made tough enough to last on the battlefield (playground) and has multiple pockets and sleeves to stash away all the things that boys like to keep safely stored in their hip pocket. Thank goodness they are also washable !! The camo makes it near impossible for wildlife or enemy combatants to spot them with wallet in hand. Good price and a good value.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for an army obsessed friend. He loved it so much! He was quick to transfer everything from his old (falling apart) wallet into his new army wallet. Overall it was a good purchase. Definitely recommend! Good for adult and children alike.

I have to agree with the other reviewers that this wallet feels very cheap and the fact that it doesn't have a spot for coins is annoying. My 6 year old has been wanting to keep his cash in a safe spot, so I suggested that he gets a wallet. He picked this one out right away. He doesn't notice the poor quality, and he's excited to have his first wallet, so it was a good buy!

We got this for our 8 yr old grandson. Of course we put some cash inside.As soon as he saw it he tucked it in his pocket.It was so cute. He did not have any idea it had money in it. Once he found that of course he became even more satisfied.The quality of the item was nice and the camo detail is nice too.Made a nice little surprise for him.

This is an inexpensive wallet for a young boy. He's enjoying being like his dad. It's not a great durable product but will last long enough for your child to enjoy.

Wallet is thin and flimsy. This is similar to a $5 wallet you would find in china town. This wallet is priced way too high.
