This cable actually works (unlike others that I have tried). It has the advantage of being very small, but coupled with a suitable USB-C results in the perfect charger cable length. Seems well made and is much better and cheaper than a dedicated cable. I may buy another just in case I misplace this one. I’m glad I bought this.

These adapters work, as long as you use a 65Wor above charger. If it is blinking and not charging, then you must be trying to use a weak phone charger. USB C is just a plug type, it is not a power output standard.With that out of the way, Sisyphy are selling rubber cables, branded as braided. They are NOT braided! See the photos. It is either a scam, or whoever is packing and labelling these needs to be serious re-educated. I hope it's the latter. I ordered TWO on seperate days and both were rubber, rather than braided!I want my money back! Get your quality control in order Sisyphy and / or Amazon!

bought this to use with my powerbank & it works well, just make sure all your equipment is right for the job.standard usb2 ports & usb2 leads dont work, you need the orange coloured usb3 port & leads for it to work properly

This works with my Surface Go 2, however it charges slower than when charged directly with USB C.I am using this with a 65W USB C charger. From 50% battery with a USB C charger (without the adapter) it takes 37 minutes to charge to 100%. When I use this adapter it takes 57 minutes to charge to 100%.Not really a problem for me as I'm just using this adapter to give me the flexibility to still use the USB C port for something else as opposed to trying to charge it quickly but it's good to be aware it may charge it more slowly.

Good quality item and works well will. Better than the braided ones.

Just arrived, but so far so good. Can finally get rid of those awkward surface chargers and just connect this to a much more versatile USB-C charger.

The only reason why I bought this was because I got a new work laptop that had a usb type c connector and docking station. I wanted to be able to use my Microsoft surface pro with the docking station and use the monitors, but when I plug in the surface pro to the docking station with the adapter it only charges it and doesn’t extend the display to the monitors

The product arrived on time, however when plugged in to a USB-C cable and wall plug of the correct voltage/wattage/amperage, the cable does not power the device.Basically it is a defective cable.I tried various wall plugs, sockets and cables to see if it was a fault on my end, but it turns out, after putting a tester unit onto it to see if it takes power, it reads 0V, 0A & 0W.this means it is either just and adapter on each end of braided sheathing, or the wires inside are not soldered to the USB-C/surface connector.Not worth buying, not worth the effort to return the defective goods either as the supplier will still sell shoddy products to customers regardless of who complains or returns goods.However, Not all products out of the sellers home region are bad, as I have had some good quality products from China over the years, just a shame the seller here has to be one of the 1% who do sell low quality crap at low, low prices.
