Review: A great combination for making excellent Keto Bread! - I have produced Keto bread that could double as a door stop for an Airplane Hanger. BUT The recipes that call for both Vital Wheat Gluten and Oat Fiber, along with Flax seed flour and yeast, have been phenomenal! The Vital wheat and oat fiber are very low in carbs and the recipe shown above has less than 2 carbs per slice. The consistency of the bread, due to the Vital Wheat Gluten, is reminiscent of really good sourdough bread, spongy, moist and makes fantastic toast. It is the first time in Years I have had any bread! Even just slathered with butter, these ingredients are a godsend and are reasonably priced. Forget the recipes with baking powder and psyllium husks and make real Keto bread with yeast, flax and these two products.

(Less handling is almost always better.) My plant based sausages, no-chicken patties, meatless balls, lunch “meats,” roasts, “ribs” and other vegan delights are superior to any commercially produced products my family has tried. Freshness and flavor of all Anthony's grains and flours have been consistently good. So for this level of quality I have obviously been willing to pay a higher price. After years of successful outcomes in my kitchen, my worries about creating delicious plant based meat substitutes have been eliminated. Thank you, Anthony’s!

Anthony’s Premium Vital Wheat Gluten is great for making your own bread. I think this is the secret ingredient to having a really good tasting, good texture, bread. The bag I’ve received is intact and not compromised. Even though there isn’t a stamped expiration date on the resealable bag, the gluten flour smells fresh and, although I’ve been warned not to, I’ve tasted the gluten flour straight out from the bag and it tastes like — bread! It smells like whole wheat flour that you use for baking bread. This wheat gluten is finely milled, so it looks and feels like flour. The gluten flour’s color is a very light beige/ivory. Overall, this gluten flour is a high quality product. I definitely will recommend it to my fellow bakers — especially to those who love making their own bread . Thank you Anthony!
