Works Great
Does what it says. Slow cure time to give you time to get what needs to be done time to get it done. I'm currently using it for flywheel and pressure plate bolts. My flywheel requires 6 bolts. Each of the 6 have to be first threaded in and then torqued to different specs 3 different times each before your done, so it takes more than a couple seconds. The long cure time gives plenty of time and then some for all that so a backyard mechanic like me doesn't have to feel rushed. Don't need more than about a drop or two on each bolt's threads to get the job done. I really like this size bottle...not too big, and not so stinkin small leaving you wondering if there's enough to get a single job done:)BTW, keep the packaging for future reference. About all it says on the bottle is stuff like don't drink it or squirt it in your eyes. The packaging is where it actually says to shake well before use among other pertinent info.

Definitely high-strength...
Tired of screws backing out? This is what you need. Don't plan on taking the screw out anytime soon once you use it. It definitely works. Good to have around and don't mix it up with the blue stuff, it is different.

Holds like a lock washer
Can't believe this is the first review for 262, this must be a new listing or part number. Loctite Red is the gold standard fro industry, homeowners and hobbyists when you need a nut to not vibrate loose or otherwise accidentally come loose for whatever reason. Red still allows you to remove the nut with tools and acceptable breakaway pressure (what's acceptable? Never measured it in terms of torque, but I define it as something you can do with regularly available shop tools).I also use the purple, green and blue formulas, but the red is just right when you need something to stay in place but can still break it free with some effort when necessary.

Did itβs job hopefully. Iβm sure it did
This was called by my wheel hub manufacturer to glue the hub side of the double threaded spokes. Followed directions and installed it as described.Of the wheel stays true Iβll be happy

Keeps my Dawson Front Sight on nicely!
I bought Loctite 262 Red, as recommended by Dawson Precision Sights for the installation of their front sight on my pistol. After many rounds out of the barrel, the front sight is still good and fixed in place. Thumbs up!

Bought a Motorcraft 2150 carb to upgrade my jeep, ...
Bought a Motorcraft 2150 carb to upgrade my jeep, and discovered the fuel inlet was stripped. Recut the threads one size up and installed an oversize fitting, but it seeped. Looked online, and apparently tapered threads require a sealant. Several people in the high performance engine world said this was the only stuff they use to seal fuel lines. They said everything else leaked after awhile, but this stuff never does. If you want to take apart anything you put together with this stuff, be careful and check the website. You'll probably need to use high heat to get it to release. And if you are going to do this on a fuel line with fuel anywhere nearby please call me. I want to film the event so I can post it on YouTube.

So far, so good!
We used this to fix a loose screw on our elliptical and we've been using it for a couple of weeks now with no issues, while before we had to tighten it after each use.The only drawback is it was a bit hard to open at first (it doesn't have a pin in the lid, like many similar products do).

Locked in.
Great stuff placed in the right spot. Using for a wheel stud conversion kit and safety is everything, so used 262 to lock other studs in.
