So versatile
The tiny but powerful tool is so versatile for regular applications. Battery life is quite acceptable.

Great tool, though I wish the heat didn't vent right where it's most comfortable to hold.
This is a nice little device. I bought some fiberglass-reinforced cutting wheels as well for it to cut acrylic. It does a good job. The only major gripe I have is that the heat vents out right towards the top of the handle, which is where I think you get the most control. So when I'm trying to cut something precisely, I have to remember to choke down a bit away from the bit, because I would naturally hold it closer to the tip to control it better. The battery also isn't super impressive. It went out on me after only about a half an hour. Honestly, I'm not going to use it for much longer than that anyways, but it just felt kind of short. Overall, I'm pleased with it. It does a way better job than just about any other tool I've found at cutting acrylic!

Trimmed dog nails
So far it has been used to trim overgrown dog nails. The lights really helped see her black nails. Used a drum sanding accessory and it worked well. It is not as loud as my corded Dremel tool. Plan to use it next to clean up some old decorative drawer pulls.

Love this!
First tool of this kind that I have used. It’s very easy to operate and change out the end. The cutting discs it comes with are pretty flimsy, but I found some better ones at the local hardware store. I also purchased the Dremel carving and engraving set for use with this black and decker, and it works!

This is pathetic.
The photo tells all.

Best purchase ever
My husband has been wanting one of these forever. I looked all over and found this one. The battery life lasts a long time. It is rechargeable. Has a lot of attachments. My husband actually uses this for his nails and feet.

Not Equivalent to Electrical Motor Model
When my most recent B&D RTX-6 rotary tool motor failed, I was surprised that it had been replaced by this rechargeable model - so I gave it a try. This product charged quickly, has pretty convenient speed settings, but was disappointing in two ways. The biggest problem was that when under only moderate "load" the tool would shut-off. This virtually never happened with the electric motor version. Additionally, the tool was easy to hold, but it seemed like no matter the job or how you were holding the tool, the On/Off button was never easily accessible or "ergonomically" where you expected to find it. I managed to find one outlet that still had the electric motor version in stock, so I returned the rechargeable product, and bought another electric motor version - even though the older model was now selling at a premium price. Some things just shouldn't be offered with battery power, unless they're of the equivalent capability of the electrical motor versions.
