Good Value, Quality Sounding, Workhorse Mic 💪
Since I reviewed this mic over on my YouTube Channel (Tyler Spicer), it has found its way into the regular workflow of my Youtube channel. I use it consistently for live streaming, as well as the main voiceover mic for my reviews. The most attractive element of this mic is its ease of use with the Apple products I use in my workflow, which means it simply plugs in and works. Whether that's with my Mac or with my iPad, it has consistently found use as well as sounded very good. For sure, it's not exceptional in terms of sonic signature on the level of some of the mics I work with as a musician and producer, but its ease of use and good, detailed sound in comparison to the mics built into most devices means I turn to it 9/10 times. Don't get me wrong, this is a mic that very much competes with everything else in this price range! In use, the device is simple with two knobs on the rear, one to control the gain of the mic and one to control the headphone output. The headphone output monitors straight through so you'll hear yourself in through the headphones as well as summing the audio from whatever application into the phones. There is also a mute button on the front of the mic, but in practice I find this difficult to use on zoom calls etc as the noise of you pressing the button comes through as you touch the body of the mic, making it somewhat less discrete than just clicking mute on your video conferencing software. However, it does add extra peace of mind. The output of the mic is over mini USB and the supplied cable is of exceptional quality for the cost of this mic. It is usb mini to usb A so if you're using it with a USB C device, you will need a USB A to C adapter, but that's not uncommon at any price range. The build quality of the mic is very solid, with the stand adding significant weight which anchors it to the desk. This can also be removed so you can use the mic with whatever stand you prefer. The mic itself a lot lighter without the stand which makes it useable on most boom stands. Surprisingly the mic comes with a well thought out music stand to camera size adapter for the mic, which gives space for the headphones and USB port - a nice touch!Overall I'm really impressed with this mic and as someone who had never considered the virtues of owning a USB mic previously (preferring to use an audio interface to mic), it has got consistent use, which is probably the biggest compliment I could give it! I will continue to use it regularly in my videos and for all online interaction, which will continue to be a big part of our lives moving forward, no doubt! This mic is really strongly worth considering and for 99% of buyers who are most likely wanting a better quality of sound for their digital lives, I would stop here and just click buy now - this mic will do everything you want and at a price that beats the rest.Search the title below to find the full video review, unking and to hear the mic in action on my YouTube Channel:The Best USB Mic in 2021 for Music-Making? | Fifine K678 USB Microphone Review | Recording & Voice

Premium Microphone With Amazon Voice Recording Quality
I have a really interesting product to review today and it is the FiFineK678 MicrophoneI actually record all the voice track for my YouTube videos using my iPhone 11 Pro Max. It really has decent quality microphones and is very easy to use. But I always wanted to try a proper recording microphone, similar to what most popular YouTubers use and came across this FiFine Microphone, ordered it through Amazon and got instant next day delivery on it.Now, you can really tell a lot about a product and the brand by simply looking at the packaging, and companies that actually pay attention to that is simply amazing. So the experience starts right from the time you look at the packaging and don’t have to wait until you unbox it, and it’s exactly the same with FiFine. As soon as I pulled this out of the Amazon shipping box, I was seriously impressed by the packaging. And the unboxing experience is very decent as well, everything is nicely packed along with a thank you message card from the manufacturer. The Microphone itself has a premium heft to it, comes with a swivel stand which is removable so you can mount the microphone onto an external stand or an arm if needed.Ports wise, there is a mini USB connector at the bottom along with a port which allows you to mount. Also, you have a volume and microphone gain dials on one side and a mute switch on the other.First impressions before testing, this is a premium quality product and it shows right from unboxing to everything you touch. The microphone itself has got that premium heft to it. The stand is super smooth and will give you decent adjustment angles. The controls are super smooth to touch and operate. Everything about this microphone screams quality. Now, onto testing. Even though the manufacturer advises against it, I had to connect it to my iPad Pro 2020 as I use that to edit videos for my YouTube channel. Since the included cable is not USB Type C, I used an adapter to connect this and tested it out via the iPad Pro’s inbuilt voice recorder App. And the recording quality was pretty decent. To compare, I first tried out recording by directly taking into the inbuilt studio quality microphones of the iPad Pro and then via the FiFine Microphone and the difference was clearly evident. The audio recording quality of the FiFine Microphone is simply a cut above. I tired the same using the M1 Macbook Air and then my Dell Core i7 Windows laptop and the voice recording quality is simply amazing. In summary, you get a very premium quality product with amazing voice quality for the price along with useful physical controls for volume gain and mute options and a super smooth desktop stand which offers perfect adjustment angles. It’s perfect if you are a new youtuber looking for a decent quality microphone or if you want something for your podcasts or even want to hook this up to your PlayStation for online gaming. It is pretty compact to take it along with you on the go.So, I highly recommend this product guys and I am totally happy with the purchase and use it daily for all my YouTube videos.

This so much improves my online Zoom work and voice-overs.
I watched quite a few reviews and glad I did. It is well built and solid and it does improve my voice recordings. If anything I need to get used to it picking up my breathing. Would recommend.

Quality Microphone at a Reasonable price
The Fifine K678 Microphone is a recent addition to fifines lineup and I must say from my testing I have thoroughly enjoyed using this microphone. The matte black metal design is professional looking and it feels like it could take some heavy usage, the stand is also made of metal, however, I am not a huge fan of it as there are not real ergonomic adjustments as you can only change the angle of the microphone, however, this can be fixed by putting it onto a boom arm.The mute button is very tactile and easy to press to be able to quickly use the microphone, the dials are made of hard plastic, they have a nice smooth turn to them and they don’t feel like they would fall out, like the ones in my blue yeti did, hence why I got this microphone. It connects to your pc using a Mini USB connecter to standard USB A, personally, I think the addition of USB C would have been nice however it is not a big deal. The microphone works with Both windows and mac, you can use it as an external sound card as you can change your output to the microphone and then listen through your connected 3.5 mm headphones as this microphone also has a 3.5MM jack for audio monitoring,In my opinion, this microphone has a very rich sound, maybe a bit too much base for my liking however that could just be my voice, this can be fixed in your DAW like audacity or adobe audition by increasing the higher frequencies.Overall for the low price of £73 I don’t think you can go wrong with this microphone if you’re a beginner looking for your first microphone or just want to improve your zoom meetings audio, this microphone is for you.
