no they are not the original....i have bought these candieis since i could walk to the penny candy store in the 1950's....i am really disappointed they have changed the original flavors...they were soooooooo good, so much better then the flavors they are now...i really wish they would change back to the original flavors as that what jujubees are all about.......susan

Because it's a 5lb bag as opposed to 5-6 ounces

I do not know all I know is my wife likes them.
