Disappointed
The pen appears to be very nice but I am very disappointed because it says it comes with free refill and it doesn’t! This was one of the reasons I ordered this brand!Won’t buy again!

Classy pen set; looks good, feels great in the hand, and the fountain pen writes beautifully!
This represents extraordinary value; the case alone is beautifully crafted from real leather, and is worth the money, but the pens are superb in their own right. The fountain pen writes very smoothly and doesn't dry out, while the ballpoint has a satisfying twist action, and also writes beautifully. A triumph of colour, design and technology from Online.

First impresssions - 5 star
Straight out of the box: two Online Eleganza foutain pens. One 'Leather' effect and one (cheaper) Flame Red.First impressions. The Eleganza looks well made and handle well, writing first time after an initial flush. These are quite small pens - about the size of a Parker Jotter or Sonnet ~ almost a Ladies' Pen.The Leather effect is a interesting, while the Bright Flame Red one is plain except for a silver coloured (but plastic) nib holder. The fountain pens and ballpoint pen complement each other. The leather case looks to be well made and real leather. The pens comes in a nice presentation box which will please many impressionable people who value such things more than the pens' quality. The fountain pens are similar to a Pilot Metropolitan although the nib unit thread is soft plastic not the high quality of the Pilot. Balance is good. Cap snaps on nicely. The fine steel nib has no flex, but it is Iridium tipped for smoothness. A short cartridge is supplied, but a converter costs an extra £4 or so (and is a very tight fit). The cap posts if needed but may eventually damage the barrels which appear to be powder-coated brass. They handle well in medium size hands.Inked with Diamine Jet Black the nibs are smooth and ink feed is slightly on the wet side. They are both pleasant to write with - almost as good as a Pilot Met. but not totally so.The nib is marked '7' and is really a fine, not medium width: that is marginally a disappointment, but I do use fine nibs, so it's "ho hum!". The nibs seem to get smoother with use, but there is some feedback although the nib is definitely NOT scratchy. A little line variation is possible. The ballpoint has a twist action. The supplied international size and fine point; on one pen the refill is a little faint, but the other is good. Both pens have a sprung clip which is a nice feature. The leather case certainly looks to be of good quality (it isn't PU coated): inside it has elasticated loops. The offer price for the FP, BP and case set was £21, making each item nominally cost £7: at that price it's hard to gripe about minor issues, which are actually very few. So far this looks a good pen set and great value - well worth a punt.July 2020: prices appear to be drifting upwards, and I feel that at maybe £35 might be the point at which other pens / other brands may start to seem a better choice, but the leather case is still quite a bonus.
