I did some research before I purchased this item. I’ve lifted for years and decided to upgrade my home gym. I couldn’t be happier. This item works! The 2 Velcro straps keep it secure, and it is soft yet firm. I use it at least 3-4 times a week with over 300lbs and it’s still in one piece.Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a better priced pad. You won’t find a more affordable item!Don’t forget to turn the clasps on the straps away from your skin or it will leave a mark!!!Edit: 3 months later this is what it looks like.Both ends are like this.It still works but if it gets worse I will throw it in the trash.

Serves it purpose

Low cost and does exactly what it needs to. Why pay more when they all do the same thing? It gives me cushion when I do hip thrust at the gym. Perfect for what I need. Soft and protects my body from the bar. Good purchase
