These are the best and most affordable filters on the market. I’ve used these for several years and they never cease to impress me. They pump a ton of water and can be cleaned and adjusted very easily. Sponge filters work much better and all around quieter than regular cartridge replacement filters. They hold beneficial bacteria for the fish and all you need to do is rinse out the sponges every few weeks rather than getting rid of it like replacement filters. It was a perfect fit for my big tank and keeps it clean and the fish happy and healthy. Really recommend this product.

Pretty good sponge filter. The only complaint is that the suction cups are terrible and they need to be reset daily.

I've had this filter for a few years and it's been reliable especially in comparison to a name brand one I have along with another popular model on Amazon.

Suction cups often fall off the glass. And the sponges are very fine so they can get clogged easily and then the filter doesn’t have any water flow even with weekly water changes. I usually clean one of the sponges thoroughly every week with a water change and alternate which sponge I clean but it will still be clogged when I come back to it a week later sometimes. I would recommend this as a secondary filtration for a larger tank or as a primary for 10-20 with very few fish. It fits well in a 10 gallon if the substrate is not more than an inch thick. Great for 10 gallon betta tanks because of the low flow and sponge intakes. Just maybe replace the suction cups with stronger ones. No noise whatsoever when used without an air pump.

I bought one M and one S. They're kinda bulky. But they're sponge filters so that's expected. After opening and assembly, first think I noticed was the suction cups were poorly formed. It doesn't stay in place too well. I have used the filter how for 15 days. It doesn't have the volume of flow to adequately filter a tank the sizes they're claiming. The small claims 70 gph and I'd be surprised if it's even 30. The large is only claiming 80 gph and I swear the smaller is kicking MORE water around that the large does. Lastly the small one is already making impeller whirl and whine. I've pulled it apart and made sure no sand or debris got in, it's clean and is making grinding noises in 15 days. Would not recommend this. Just buy a sponge filter and add your own pump. They've used the smallest cheapest pumps they can find and it shows. The concept is cool, the tubes and hard parts are good, the bio balls and sponges are nice, but it needs more flow and a better quality pump. Starting processes for refunds. Between the costs of the pair of these I could have gotten a smaller canister filter.

I was so happy. This filter is not loud and looked like it worked great. Sad part it quit working after a year. I unplugged it to clean the tank and it never came back on. Good product for the price, I wish it would work longer though.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Picked up a new 20 gallon long. Now we are cycling and this double sponge filter is just what it needed. Easy to install and use. Great all in one.

The product is great. Delivery was super fast. However it has an American power plug which I cannot use here in Australia

It broke after one day. Had not set it up until a few weeks later and by then too late to return I guess. Very very disappointed

Great product. Simple installation.Good aeration and tank is clean. Extra sponges included. I had a filter that hung over the tank..I prefer this submersible one...super quiet and my fish look healthy.

If your tank is simple and roomy, great. If not, don't bother, shipping is crummy, tracking doesn't update correctly, expensive, large. 🤷 Unless you love the way this looks, I can't recommend it... I don't even use it
