Highly recommend this!! We had to replace our old one which held up for many many years!! It does need to be stretched out a bit at first. It works for all different size ferrets, our chunky large male fits no problem. It gives many hours of fun play time and tail wags!!!

I quite literally just got this this morning. It took them a few minutes for my two rattie girls to get used to it, but after that they would go in. A few hours later, it still smelled a bit like plastic, but they love it! They push all of their toys through it and chase each other in it. I am really surprised and happy, because quite a few reviews mentioned it took their rats and ferrets a few days to go in it much. Maybe its just my rats, but I don't care!! They're happy and thats what matters.Update: One thing I never mentioned, at first my little fuzzbutts chewed on the ends a little bit, but that was before they actually ever went in it. They have a small(ish) cage and very few toys, but they play with this every day at free-range time. I tie it in knots, wrap it in places they are not allowed to go in (like the back of the sofa)and although that slightly provokes them to go up there more, they get a chance to really see places. My little Snickerdoodle loves to go in while I'm tying it up and putting it places. She is a very brave rat.Update: They have chewed 3 or so very tiny holes in the tunnel, but I am not mad, they barely show up, the rats themselves don't notice them, so its not a big deal. This has been their favorite toy since I first got it, and I will most certainly buy from Marshall Pet products again. When my rats are older and larger I might get them the play pen. :)Update: Still number one toy! they LOVE THIS THANG. It actually encourages them to burrow (in blankets, in my hair...) and i am very very glad I bought it.

Ferrets love it. Size is perfect, easy to clean, use and store

I just got this a few days ago from Amazon, and already it's turned into my ferret's favorite toy. Nothing else (save for a plastic water bottle that he likes more than his expensive toys, lol) has held his attention for as long as this, and he keeps going back for more! He especially finds it fun if you sit on the floor and twist it all around yourself, up over your shoulders and under your legs, so that he gets to climb, slide and twist to get through the whole thing. He also finds it likes me to run the tube through a dark cardboard box, or move the ends while he's in the middle so that it comes out in a new place every time. At twenty feet this tube stretches out well, much better than the other eight foot tubes that you can find in stores, and the clear plastic is nice because it allows you to see your ferret and vice-versa much better.As one of the other reviews said, though, he does like to chew the ends; since I supervise him during play time, this hasn't been a problem, but I might take their advice and cover the edges with some duct tape. And even though he tries to "dig" his way out of the middle of the tube from inside, the plastic seems to be sturdy and is holding very well.The tube also smelled very strongly of plastic when it first arrived, but it aired out well within about a day and no longer smells like anything.Every ferret definitely needs one of these! =)

Got this for our ferrets and they love it.You really need to stick both ends into something and stretch it out for you to actually get any length lol but we were able to tuck one end underneath a table and the other end across the room underneath the closet.Super strong chemical smell, left it outside for 2 days and it was still really strong. There's still a smell.. but I dunno other than that it's perfect for the girls to go running through. They even turn around in it and chase each other back and forth lol. It's cute watching them run around in it.This was one of the cheaper options we found so I would say it's worth it. But definitely let it air dry outside

For a marshal product it's good. The tube does not stay open be warned. You need to use something to keep it elongated or else it stays condensed. This will not be easy to clean as it is a long tube - but the plastic material seems it can be hosed down well and left out to dry - again needing to make sure it is completely stretched out to make sure it is entirely DRY and no mold / mildew collects in any pocket. There is no building or assembly required. It is just a tube in a box.

My rats love this thing. I lay it on a bed with twists and turns and they chase each other thru it, over it, under it.It wants to retract so I put something fairly heavy on each end to keep it stretched out. It's not perfect, but it does fine for play sessions.I like that it's see thru. It's nice to be able to see where your babies are, and if someone has fallen asleep mid-way in the tube. Easy to clean, I just aimed my shower head down the interior then sprayed off the outside. Obviously it's great for storage since it retracts to about a foot and a half.They are a bit expensive for what is essentially a dryer hose. But being see thru and easy to clean makes this a much better toy for rodents.
