SAVED OUR FISH’s LIFE!!!!!!! Bought it due to red spots and blemishes all over my daughter’s gold fish. Followed instructions but used for an additional week along with aquarium salt. Fish cleared up and no longer lethargic. My girls are happy :)

Guppy wasting disease
My female guppy that I've had for a little while she had what is called guppy wasting disease and I use this put her in the hospital tank with a heater. She was incredibly skinny and almost transparent colored now she got her appetite back and is gaining weight. When you research this disease online a lot of people will tell you that it's terminal but I don't think so I think you should give them a chance.Just follow the instructions on the bottle measure it properly and change out the water . Just have some prepared water on the side for water changes. Also make sure to use an air stone the combination of all that has been advised will really help your fish .

Saved my fish!
I got a poor little Betta fish from a chain pet store (probably my first mistake) and I was so excited because he was tri-colored and had a beautiful teal look to him! And he was what I was looking for 'red/white/blue' I was so excited!Well he got put into his new tank, and he didn't seem to be moving around much, even for a betta which I have owned in the past. I started taking a closer look at him about a month after I got him, and he looked to have fin rot. He had been biting his tail in the tiny cup which is hard to see in the photos... So I got this neat stuff because it's less than half of betta fix, is the same active ingredient, and has a higher concentration. Win, win, win. Started using it in his tank on a regular, adding one drop per gallon with an eye dropper and doing regular water changes. And would you know it, he started changing colors! Now I'm not saying that this stuff will make your fish morph like it did mine, but it will save them if you use it as instructed for what it is meant to be used for. What I didn't know at the time of buying him is that he had a SEVERE bacterial infection all over his face and sides. That white I thought was part of his color WAS HIM BEING EATEN ALIVE BY THIS BACTERIA.This medication is designed to get rid of that bacteria, which is what causes fin rot as well. After using it for about 3 months on a regular I had a completely different fish, literally. He was so much happier and looked even more vibrant and had much more energy to inspect and even flair at my camera and show of his beautiful colors.Long story short, if you use this, USE IT FOR WHAT ITS MEANT TO BE USED FOR AND YOU'LL GET GREAT RESULTS. I know I did. I still have little ATO to this day (I've had him for about two years now) and he now has an entourage of shrimp palls to keep him company. In the picture provided you can still see some of the bacteria on his face around his eyes, that's long gone at this point but I couldn't get a good picture for him from today. Little bugger keeps teasing me and then swimming away, ah well. These ones will be good enough.

Decent product but buy the bigger bottle
Helped my angel fish for awhile. But didn't stop the spread of it to other fish. So I had to buy more to heal the other fish. In the end the angel died. So not sure if it didn't get rid of it all the way, or if I was to late in administering the meds. Definitely need a bigger bottle cuz you go thru a lot in a 45 gallon tank.

Can and will kill fish sometimes
Not sure how long bettas live but I had a two year old fish that died after being medicated. However I would say that you use this as a preventative medication.

Definitely helps
I bought two fish at a big box store and apparently one had fin rot and passed it along really quickly to my other fish. I quarantined the last one to have it that survived and started treating him daily and he’s already pepped up and back to eating.

Made a world of difference!
I honestly don't usually write reviews on the things I buy here on Amazon, but this is worth taking the time to write a review. I was almost afraid to buy this product because of some of the negative reviews, but I was worried about Kepler (my beautiful Betta you see in the pictures) and decided that I would take a chance that it would work, rather than just leaving it go. I couldn't have been happier with the product! I had him in a 1 gallon bowl. As you can see from the pictures of before, his dorsal fin on top was all ratty and clear, and his tail and anal fin were also torn up in spots. If you look at the present picture (the blue-ish one), this is him a week and a half later in his new aquarium. His top fin is almost completely healed, his tail is nice and round again, and his fins are growing back quickly! His color is also better! I honestly think that this saved my fish. I gave him two droplets with an eyedropper in the tank every day, during which time I turned on the air stone in his tank (not sure if that made a difference; that's just what I did) until it got better. On the last day, before I put him in the new tank, I gave him water with a bit of aquarium salt in it just as an extra precaution. Please don't be scared away by the negative reviews! I daresay that, for the majority of those, the fish would have died with or without this treatment. API wouldn't sell it if it killed fish!
