does this mat come in a smaller size

We don't make our mats in any sizes smaller than our Extra Large size. Smaller mats simply don't work very well as there isn't enough surface area to catch litter. We refuse to sell a product that doesn't have superior performance, and that's why we don't carry smaller sized mats.

Can you get the litter out of the little mesh web? Don't the pieces get stuck in the mat?

We have had these mats before and yes it gets very stuck

Is this mat BPA-free?

As I read the description, its free of other toxins so I'm not sure what those other toxins are but I would imagine that could be included.
