Fjällräven Pocket Crossbody - Durable G-1000 Fabric, Compact Storage, Adjustable Strap - Travel

I will start off by saying I am a minimalist with the things I want to carry in a purse. I am not an endless pit type. I was shopping around to replace a tattered similar bag I got at the big blue empire for $5. At $30, the autumn leaf color was $10 cheaper than the other colors. It's a nice color, so I got it. I love the fjallraven fox logo. I hate logos with company names or big words. A tiny little fox is PERFECT. The fabric is heavy duty and unique feeling. Inside the pouch I can fit a comb, my very large Nexus 6p phone, and there is room leftover. Inside the main pocket is a little open pocket that fits a large stack of credit cards/other cards. I have more than 10 cards in there and there is room for more. I prefer to have my cards loose, not in a wallet, so I can just open the pouch, reach in easily, and grab the needed card. On the back of the pouch is a zippered pocket, where I put cash. The strap is thin, but made of some extremely durable feeling webbing ribbon. It is very long and adjustable. 99% of women are going to have no problem with the strap length. I hope to get some more fjallraven items in the future!

I was initially hesitant to purchase this as a lot of people were complaining about the “tail,” left over after adjusting the length but I pulled the trigger none-the-less and was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure if people were getting knock-offs (I purchased from the seller ‘Zappos,’ definitely the real deal), or if the company has updated their design, but there is literally no “tail,” or anything hanging for that matter. The craftsmanship is top notch. It’s actually shocking how sturdy this little bag feels. I bought this for my girlfriend as she refuses to carry a traditional “purse,” yet gripes when she loses things or doesn’t have enough pockets. She absolutely adores this little bag and can fit a shocking number of things in it. As of writing this she is managing to tote: 1) Field Notes notebook, 2) four or five pens <Parker Jotter, if you’re that concerned about the size> 3) two stand sized chapsticks 4) eye glass repair kit 5) small homemade first aid kit <Advil, Tums, bandaids of various sizes, hand sanitizer> 6) spare lightning cable 7) wireless headphones 8) mini power bank <unsure of the brand, but it’s small> 9) eyeliner pencil and sharpener 10) Gerber Air Ranger pocket knife 11) the back zippered portion contains debit cards, drivers license, cash Pretty good haul for such a small bag. All in all she loves it and I’m so impressed by it that I’m planning on purchasing a bigger bag for myself. Hope this review helps!

I'm extremely pleased with this. I wanted a small purse that would be close to the body without sacrificing storage. I also wanted something discreet and utilitarian and this fits all of my requirements. Enough storage for passport, phone, keys, tampons, credit cards, cash, chapstick, and a few other essentials without bulging awkwardly. It's also flat enough where I can be wearing it under a winter jacket. The strap is sturdy enough to adjust where it sits without shifting. This is perfect for grabbing for a quick trip to the store or using as a primary purse on an extended trip. It's also really sturdy with a thick canvas fabric, and it's gotten splashed with rain and snow and looks practically new, aside from the black dye fading slightly which would be expected regardless. Super simple style while still have a cute je ne sais quois. Really stoked about this bag, and I am considering buying additional colors, but honestly what's better than black?

I love this product. I was using my old Banana Republick canvas/leather passport pocket with the rawhide strip shoulder strap and the belt loop. But my cell phone was tearing apart the seams! Voila, I found this product and purchased 3. I really like this product as it is very tough and holds my cell phone, ID and credit cards in the outside zipper pocket and has an inside pocket that is deeper than the outside zipper pocket. So why only 4 stars?? The outside zipper pocket could be a bit deeper and that would make getting your cards and money out easier by far. The inside pocket has no velcro or zipper closing making items somewhat unsafe feeling in there. I added a velcro patch myself for security. The large pocket overall is fine for cell phone, and the purse snap is heavy duty and secure. By the the best match to what I was looking for Lightweight (seniors have bad necks and shoulders), and big enough for cell phone , ID and monies. Still a deeper outside zipper pocket would be nice and a bit of velcro on the inside pocket would be nice.

This pocket turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. It is built to last a lifetime, the quality is excellent. The length is great for me, often the strap is too short for a tall person. I am 5'10" and the strap is (finally) long enough for my comfort. The colors are rich and my 'stuff' fits perfectly. Very well designed, easy to be organized!

So i bought this so i can have a small bag that can still fit my phone. I have the iphone 13 max pro with otter box symmetry case. It fits in the bag but not in the inside pocket. It’s a bit too tall to close the pocket book. (An iphone 12 pro with case can fit). I was able to undue the bottom stitching of the inside pocket so the iphone max can slide through so i can snap close the purse. Works well! The only thing I don't like is it’s not machine washable.
