Bought one of these to try out for shoe storage and I love it. I wanted something transparent to keep my nicer shoes in, to get them off of my wood floor/out of the air which both are frequently dusty and this box is excellent! Clear, very stylish, protective and functional. If I could change one thing, I’d make the box so that the lid snapped shut or secured in some way — currently, it doesn’t seal at all. But still, my shoes won’t get dusty and will not fall victim to spills/flooding (god forbid) which is what I wanted. My shoes are a size 8 for reference. Perfect for flats or smaller, less clunky heels. My pumps fit in sideways, but only barely. Will definitely be investing in a few more of these! The price tag is worth the splurge, as long as you have maybe 5 pairs of nicer shoes to box and not 50..!

So this is exactly as it advertises itself to be. A clear storage box with a hinged lid. Nothing wrong with that.What is wrong are the dimensions listed in the body of the listing and in the selection menu. The real dimensions are 12.75" (length) x 3.75" (height) x 7" (width)Basically a short (height-wise) shoebox . These actual dimensions are listed correctly in the Amazon product details, but if someone doesn't get that far down the listing or doesn't know which dimensions are correct there can be some confusion. Hope this helps anyone else looking to buy this item.

Bought for a pair of Rothy’s and this fit the bill for my size 10. Would not fit my other shoes. Flats and slender sandals otherwise great for other small items

I ordered 5 of these beautiful containers. Out of the five 3 were cracked one was broken completely in shipping however the shipping box was perfect. These boxes are lucite and easy to crack, they were not packed for shipping correctly. Will not re-order.

Was intended to store hubby's dress shoes but they didn't fit but he found a use for it.

I was disappointed to see that these were no longer available when I visited my purchased items page with the intention of buying another. Granted, we should all be carefully contemplating the decision to buy anything made of plastic these days, and these are. Their transparency, however, makes them an incredibly efficient solution to shoe storage -- and perhaps morally justifiable to those who feel they're taking enough other action to minimize their carbon footprint and plastic consumption. The stickers that other reviewers complained about can be removed relatively easily by holding the area bearing the sticker in the stream of steam from a humidifier. The heat from the steam enabled me to peel them off completely cleanly. Goo-Gone is also an effective remover of traces of adhesive. The lids, when open, rest in a position that seems precarious and doesn’t inspire confidence about their ability to withstand repeated opening and closing. I was left with the impression that the design might benefit from the hinges having been placed further apart, or from an additional, third hinge, placed between the other two, to increase stability. As someone who rarely opens the containers after having placed out-of-season shoes in them, however, this has not proven to be a problem. I'd be thrilled if they were back in stock, although I agree with other reviewers that the manufacturer should replace the stickers used on them with a label attached by some other means -- or simply allow the outer packing to suffice. And, finally, I'm unsure what the category "adhesion," which is listed as one to which I'm supposed to assign a star rating for this item, refers to.

This was used for a diorama. I wanted a container that was clear so that the diorama could be seen, had a lid so that it could be mostly dust-free, portable, and small enough to use as a table decoration. This fit all those needs.

I really like this clear storage box for my smaller items like my winter toques, hats, gloves and a couple scarves. It’s also good for a few of my summer sandles. It’s great for storing smaller items, sturdy, looks nice and I recommend it :) *my hats and coffee cups are pictured just for a little size reference view
