///////////////UPDATE//////////////////////////// I have now ordered my 3rd bottle of Parasymplus . My quality of life is gradually continuing to improve! Here are areas I'm seeing improvement even since the last bottle: -Digestion/regularity (no constipation and way less diarrhea.) -No gall bladder attacks -My body's stress level has greatly improved (the constant buzzing is mostly gone!) -Better recovery from activities/less fatigue! (More spoons and better quality spoons) (Google spoon theory) -Less histamine responses!! (I was even able to cut back on my histamine blockers a bit!) -My sleep quality is still improving -Mental clarity is starting to come back -My hamstrings are not so tight (I was taking ibuprofen each night to sleep because my legs hurt so bad. That's no longer the case!) The part I DON'T love, is the price. I wish maybe there were more pills in each bottle(?). I would love to take 3 a day, (I currently take 2), but, I do the math, and I just can't do it. As far as we know, I have had these since birth. I am currently taking a "mast cell cocktail" as prescribed by my neurologist from Mayo Clinic. I have taken Parasym Plus for almost a month now. I am ordering my second month's supply. So far, I believe that this medicine has improved my quality of life 5%-10%, and I don't say this lightly. Nothing else has improved my health to this percentage. AND, if Dr. Diana's theory is correct on [...] that percentage should grow. Here's my experience: The very first two pills I took had an immediate effect. Within the first 10 minutes I had a calm feeling, like the constant buzz of my fight-or-flight paused. (I rarely get relief from this symptom, maybe once every 4 months or so.) That first week I was tired, and I wanted to sleep a lot. My theory was that I was catching up on rest, but I don't know. After a week of taking the pills, I noticed that my digestive system was working really well. If I take the pills without food, first thing in the morning, I have a bowel movement within the hour. "Bowel movement in about an hour", could be the slogan, but I know it's so much more. As a note, it was nothing like taking a laxative. After a month of taking Parasym Plus, I saw a lot of improvement in my health. My GI system feels healthier. I even feel like I avoided a gall bladder/pancreas attack after eating too many rich foods. I also don't feel like I'm always starving. (This wasn't mentioned as a benefit, but I imagine it's because my body is absorbing nutrients instead of my 2 normals: constipation or diarrhea.). -- The anxiety and buzz of fight-or-flight is still there, but I felt like I was given several "breaks". Very exciting! -- I still have only so many "spoons" for energy, but we noticed that my recovery time is so much quicker. I feel like I was given a several bonus spoons. I also saw that I am sleeping better at night. (Like my body is relearning to rest efficiently.) Overall, I am extremely pleased with this supplement. Unless something changes, I plan to take the regularly. I know that this medicine is supposed to help with inflammation and the inflammation response. I will continue to take it.

First thing to be aware of with this product is that it was developed for a very specific set of medical conditions - specifically to help with symptoms of gastroparesis and sluggish digestion associated with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD), and POTS. I notice there are some reviews here from buyers who seem to have tried this supplement for other, more general concerns, and to be clear, that is NOT the intended use for this product. I have EDS, MCAD, and POTS with very sluggish digestion and a lot of gastrointestinal pain and constipation. This product definitely helps me with those issues, BUT this stuff is powerful, and I don't know that using it in the absence of these specific conditions is necessarily a good idea. I experienced marked side effects for several weeks starting with just one capsule per day, to the effect of feeling spacey and almost drunk. My body has adjusted slowly over time but my experience tells me that this supplement should not be used casually. I have also had personal correspondence with the creator of this product (who personally suffers from EDS, MCAD, POTS, and gastroparesis) where she has confirmed that the active ingredient whose purpose is to increase bioavailable acetylcholine *does cross the blood-brain barrier*, and that this was intentional because her research suggests that many people with EDS, MCAD, and POTS have autoimmune-induced insufficiency of intrinsic acetylcholine production - meaning that a drug like Mestinon (which blocks reuptake of our own acetylcholine) would not be effective, so that's why she set out to create a product that would be able to cross the blood-brain barrier for the purpose of adding acetylcholine in a way that presumably many of us with EDS, MCAD, and POTS can't do on our own. So in sum... if you suffer from these specific conditions or maybe from idiopathic gastroparesis or vagus nerve damage, this product may really be worth a try for you. But for more general use, I would be very cautious. The bottle does come with a warning to use under the supervision of a doctor.

Today I am purchasing my third bottle of Parasym Plus. I read an interview on thelowhistaminechef.com where this product was mentioned. My apologies to the interviewee. While I know she was an attractive doctor, I don't remember her name. However, you can go to the mentioned website and, read her testimony. Good Stuff! Her testimony about chronic constipation rang true for me. She explained how parasym plus came to be, how is cured her from constipation. Bingo! She had my full attention. I ordered the product that day. I am pleased with this product. I haven't noticed ONE negative side effect! That in itself is amazing for me. :) Day one the product worked like a charm. Day two great results. Day three I felt so good I decided to take the pills 3 times a day. I felt fantastic. Morning of Day four, no BM. ????? I decided not to take the pills throughout the day from then on. The good doctor did state, that two pills first thing in the morning on an empty stomach will produce a bowel movement in one hour. I found that to be true. However, I will say that I have had a couple of times this failed to happen for me. I had to increase the dose to three caps for a few days. Things started happening again! Today I used two pills with good results. So, not sure why I can't take them throughout the day and, still have results in the am? Too, not sure why I had to up the amount to 3 caps. That is why I rated this product a 4 out of 5. Five would be perfection. YET! This is the first thing ever in my 54 years that has given me relief of constipation without making me feel sick.

I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome(POTS). I have very low blood pressure. With that, I have flushing, allergies, histamine issues, seizure-like episodes that last an hour or so, stomach issues, and cognitive issues with severe light and sound sensitivities. I started with 1 capsule of Parasym Plus in the morning on an empty stomach, but quickly reduced to 1/2 a capsule because it made me EXTREMELY loopy, out of it, and more tired than usual. By the afternoon though, I was more clear-headed and the overload on my senses and light and sound sensitivity were lessening. As I continued taking it, I began to have more energy and could be on my feet longer. I even got out of the house a bit once a week. I slowly increased the amount I was taking to 1 capsule. The light and sound sensitivity had been so reduced it was absolutely amazing. After a few weeks, the EXTREMELY loopy side effects were gone and I started to be able to get out of the house a few times a week for longer periods of time! Before, I really only go out of the house for doctor appointments. On a normal basis, I have several more "spoons" than I did before. As another reviewer said..."I still hit a wall, but it takes much longer..." I've been taking this now for a little over a year. I only had seizure episodes twice this last year, whereas I had at least one a month before or whenever I exerted myself, tried to exercise or was overstimulated. With Parasym Plus, I was finally able to start slowly exercising! I had to start first with stretching and then move to only two minutes...it still took me a year to reach 20 minutes of recumbent exercise, but I could finally do it-I no longer collapsed, had an extremely high heart rate or had seizure like episodes when attempting exercise. I now have a BM every morning which is awesome. I notice a little reduction in flushing, but I still flush often. I continue to take HistDAO and eat a low histamine diet which also help with my symptoms. I can still have bad weeks. If I get sick, my symptoms are much worse...every once in a great while, extreme light and sound sensitivity return for a day, but things are so much better. SO MUCH BETTER! I have been given part of my life back. (NOTE: I've never been able to take 2 capsules in the morning on an empty stomach as suggested. I get too many loopy side effects. I stay with my one capsule a day on an empty stomach.)

Unfortunately, this gave me horrible insomnia. Huge waste of money as I won't be able to take this anymore.

I have POTS/dysautomina/autonomic nervous system damage that leaves me feeling chronicly fatigued, out of breath 24-7, i pass out when standing, i have blood flow issues, i struggle with cognitive impairment (word retrieval, garbled language issues, processing events and words etc), i have heart rate issues (afib/SVT), blurry vision, ocular migranes, have very low bp that "bottoms out" if i dont have thousands of mg of salt per day, i have digestion and unrinary retention issues... the cause of my issues are from brain /nerve /spinal damage (i had spinal surgery -full spinal fusion- causing some of the issues years ago and then brain and nerve damage from taking the medication phentermine after the birth of my child to loose the baby weight.) Anyway i was really looking forward to this supplement because people with nervous system conditions have little to no support or help in the medical community unfortunately...and this supplement has EVERYTHING in it i should be taking with my condition BUT it did not work for me. I believe because this medicine is mainly for people with a clear cut parasymathetic nervous system dysfunction and thats it, i MIGHT have a sympathetic dysfunction as well (swinging from one to another, no homeostasis..i dont know) because when i took this for 2 weeks i was SOOO overwhelmingly exhausted, out-of-it, "loopy" and just "sick" with lethargy it DID help stimulate my bowels wonderfuly and i felt CALM for the 1st time, that was lovely. This is a great medicine for the RIGHT person, for me i work best just taking some choline, b vitamins, powerade, and fish oils. I appreciate all your company does but again, it might work for you, it might not.

The product is EXCELLENT!!! To call it a miracle is not an overstatement. I am a 45 year old female and was diagnosed with POTS summer of 2015 by Mayo Clinic. I have no comorbid issues and therefore Mayo could find no reason for the POTS. My condition has been degenerating since my 20's. I have extreme issues with my heart rate and breathing, my digestion is poor, unsteadiness and dizziness were a constant companion, and my cognitive function was impaired. After much research I felt strongly that my Vegas nerve could be the primary issue causing my POTS. I have used MANY other supplements with little to no benefits. I ordered all three VNS products with hope. I received the products, took two before going to bed and two more in the morning. My gastritis, gastroparaesis, and vagus nerve is definitely on the mend with this one! I am certainly having the bowl movements as promised!!!!!!!!!!! First and foremost, this is not a cure all people. But this will GRADUALLY, give quality back to into your life. Note: Everybody's body is different. Initially, I had a bit of a intense rush when I took this supplement. So I stopped taking it, and was maybe taking it every two days or so. My symptoms were slightly managed truly, but I knew I had to just dive into it and take it everyday. I'm so glad I did. Big improvements came. My heart rate has begin to normalize and this is so huge. I took so many aspirin and had so many E.R. visits. NOW, with only a few moments out of the day of what can be compared to a palpitation or skipping beat or an out of control speed is what I experience, instead of and ALL DAY torture event. Totally bearable stuff. There are SO many ugly symptoms that came along with these diseases. :( Doctors just do not seem to understand it all. But with this supplement you can gain relief. I can't wait to see if my sleep and dizziness is improved as it has only been two weeks I have been taking it and about 4 days consistently. I was recommended this product from other people with ME/CFS & lots of great reviews. As I’m sensitive..i took half for 2 days but felt a lot worse quite quickly. Very symptomatic with all symptoms flaring. I’m not sure why…We have to be our own scientists with this illness. It’s all trial & error. It’s just unfortunate that sometimes things don’t help for some. I contacted the seller & they offered me a full refund. That truly gave me faith back in humanity!
