These things did exactly what I needed them to do. I have some RGB devices (Corsair) hooked up to my computer and suspected they weren't getting enough power off the USB 2.0 headers, or that I was suffering from usage of too many USB endpoints, or a combination of the two, so I wanted to try plugging them into a USB 3.0 port so I could resolve for both potential issues. It worked like a charm :-)100% would recommend this product to anyone having a similar problem!

Why is there no referenced pin out confirmation? This is quite literally the ONLY thing that matters. I've ruined one board trying to investigate and get the pins sorted. Other than that, it's solid construction.

I used these to connect the front panel USB connectors on a machine that lacked the headers internally. I simply routed the cables out the back of the case and plugged them into the standard USB-A ports on the motherboard. Tada! A Pentium II with front USB.The cables don’t feel too cheap and the crimping seems strong enough to hold onto the wires. Perfect for very specific scenarios.

I did well in the function I expected.
