Writes super smooth but build quality is pathetic.
This pen writes super smooth. It's definitely better then the Sakura Pigma Micron in terms of both the smoothness and the tip durability. I haven't used it long enough to talk about how durable the tip is but I am certain it's better in than the Sakura Pigma Micron. However the lines are a little too thin for 0.3mm. In comparison to the Faber Castell Pitt Artist's pen of the same line width this is noticeably thinner and seems more comparable to the 0.1mm instead. But that's is not the worst part as this difference is kind of expected from brand to brand. And considering this pen writes super smooth I am willing to ignore this shortcoming. But to me the dealbreaker is the build quality of this pen. It's pathetically cheap. The cap's clip so easily and often dislodges as you try to open the cap. The clip too is very very cheap plastic. Overall for this price I would expect a little more at least in build quality too. This is such a shame as this pen is so good in terms of writing quality. When I open the cap I would feel so pissed off. As I begin to write with it I will forget that. And after writing when I put the cap back on I once again begin to feel the cheapness in the build quality. Definitely a shame on an otherwise very good pen.
