Dorman 926-149 Transmission Conductor Plate Compatible with Select Ford/Lincoln Models

bought a more pricey option from Amazon thinking you get what you pay for. that was not the case as that one was defective refurbished crap. this one what no different then OEM had the updated protection and works better then the OEM. thanks for making this part and pricing it better then OEM.

This part was professionally installed and immediately threw 7 permanent codes. Truck would not move. Only problem with original lead frame was the output speed sensor. This Dorman part has wasted time and money. And I'm 2 weeks past the return window . Total trash.

So far this has been installed for a week now. Before we were having issues with our 2013 Expedition(127k miles) acting erratic. The instrument panel would show dashes and zeros and the gauges would all drop as if the vehicle was off. The only gauge that did move was the RPM and it would rev up as if we were accelerating but the Expedition wouldn't go over 20mph. It was completely random when it would do this and would be fine as if nothing ever happened other times. Our vehicle would also shift a little rough, nothing too hard but you could feel every time the transmission shifted. Also it would idle rough at 500-600 RPMs. We had ordered the OEM from Ford but it had been on backorder since December so we decided to buy this Dorman version instead. Fortunately it's working perfect. It shifts so smooth it feels brand new and now it idles so smooth at a steady 500RPM you can't even tell if the vehicle is running. Hopefully it will continue like this for many more miles.

The transmission conductor plate has a poor fit and doesn’t function properly. It causes shifting issues and unreliable performance. Quality is lacking, leading to frequent malfunctions. Disappointing product.

Installation was straightforward, and it fit exactly as expected. The quality seems top-notch, and I've noticed smoother shifting since the replacement.

8/18/2024 My Ford F150 3.5 ecoboost had code P0720 pop up, of course my truck was not covered under the Ford recall!! After watching several videos i was sent to amazon to purchase a part that was out of stock. (OEM Genuine Ford Connector Assembly for 2009-2014 Ford F-150 AL3Z7G276D)After doing research i found this Dorman 926-149 replacement which also shows up as a replacement from autozone. install was easy and only took about 3 hours from start to finish. Installed a few days ago. fingers crossed that it last! so far the truck runs like it did when i first purchased it. Transmission has smooth shifting and no check engine codes anymore!!!shipped out same day it was purchased.NOTE- purchase trans gel or something you can use internally! you will need it.

The product was well-packaged and arrived quickly. After installation, my shifting issues were resolved completely. Great value for the price!

I get it... we're all tired of dealing with defective parts. I was hoping that this Dorman part would at least equal if not outlast the original faulty part.Unfortunately, after replacing the defective OEM Lead Frame with this part, my truck began spitting out DTC's related to the Transmission Range Sensor (P1702, P0707, P0706). One year after it was installed, my truck went into TCM limp mode intermittently, refused to start, all due to this part.Do whatever you can to get the real Ford part (Motorcraft#: al3z-7g276-d). As infuriating as it is that the OEM part failed, even the failed OEM lasted ~12 years, the Dorman couldn't even make it past the 12 month mark.If you're looking to spend money on a stop-gap that will get you back on the road, excellent, that's exactly what you'll get. If you're looking for a long term solution, keep on truckin.

Ordered this one, because the Motorcraft/Continental part wasn't available some month ago, and it came defective from the factory.Installing it made the the car absolutely undrivable and so I had to do the whole procedure again.Do yourself a favor and get the OEM part from the get go!

J'ai vraiment perdu ma transmission 6R80 à cause de cette pièce. Avant ma transmission etait stable et correct juste un DTC de speed sensor mais après l'installation de cette pièce juste le premier essai commence le bruit la vibration et plein de DTC de transmission avec le ventillateur qui tourne au max vitesse . Et voilà l'amazone te propose une remboursement d'article ! Mais comment ça ? Est ce que je dois payer le garage aussi pour démonter l'article pour le retourner ? Est ce que je dois aussi payer un nettoyant d'huile pour bien nettoyer l'article pour que la poste canada peut accepter le retour ? C'est vraiment sympatique ça
