The pants are light weight (important in the TX heat) but feel sturdy enough to handle crawling all over the place. They are the first pants we've found that are not too long but still have some room around the waist. We purchased size 12-18 months and are happy with the fit (he's 31" and ~24lbs). It's hard to know how sizes will fit my little guy because he's just 9 months old but is big for his age, so the extra room in the waist may give us room to grow a bit in these verses some of the more expensive items that get worn a few times then are too small to be comfortable.I purchased 4 pairs of these pants in various colors and would definitely consider buying more. Keep in mind if you have a skinny-minny kiddo, you may need to put a few stitches in the waistline to pull them in a bit. (bigger than 75% of babies his age as told by his pediatrician). He usually fits this size perfectly, However, these are pretty big on him. The waist is much too big and the legs are too long. I will note that his legs are not very long so they might fit better on a baby with longer legs. These are 13 in. long and 8 in. wide. So I just rolled them in at the waist twice and it doesn't look too bad. I'm actually happy that he has room to grow in them because I do love the deep, army green color. Arrived on time. Appears to be nice quality, lightweight, simple pants which is what I was looking for. My child is short, normal weight with a Buddha belly. He'll be 24 months in a couple of weeks and the 18-24 mo pants would literally fall off of him when he walked. If they stayed up, I think they would have been a little on the short side - not typical, as all other 2T pants are 2-3 inches too long for him. It would have to be a pretty large wasted child before the elastic in the waist would do any good.
