Items work as stated. Water has not gotten inside the covers. Chains are rusting so may need to replace with something stainless or brass. The are on a outside box for external coax hookups. Maybe they were for inside protection from dust.

I’m using this to cap a connector on my sailboat. The problem is that the chain is rusting badly and is staining the gel coat. I’ll need to find another solution.

My caps started to rust after the first rain. Not even close to salt water.

Nice, tight fitting cap but immediately left rust stains on my console. May just be from the chain but that was a big selling point.

From the description about N connectors wasn't absolutely sure it would work on SO239 connectors - it does.
