Easy to install, sturdy roof basket
Looks great and seems very sturdy. Haven’t used it for cargo yet though. Easy to assemble and install

Perfect
Freaking perfect. Easy to assemble and mount. Immediately used on a fly fishing trip with rods attached to the sides and gear on top. Love it. Also, barely affected gas mileage and almost no wind noise.

Works well on my Polaris Slingshot
First saw something like this at Maggie Valley last year at a Slingshot rally. Saw a post on some Slingshot forums with a link to all the pieces and added one myself. Fits great. Very sturdy. Only rated for 150 pounds, but I don't think I'll ever come close to that. I gave it a three because the it only has some rubber straps that go over the holes you use to assemble it. If it's in the rain a lot, I see that being some bad juju. But the overall value can't be beat. Will probably last me for years.

Good bang for your buck
I’m obsessed with my cargo cage. YES, I took the precautionary steps of weatherproofing it myself after reading the rust-reviews. But unless you spend a few hundred dollars that’s what you’re going to get. Installation was easy. It looks great on my 2016 Jeep Patriot and the size is very functional. I packed over 60lbs of camping gear for a road trip up the length of California and it worked perfectly! I’ve had it on for about 3 months and I’ve only noticed the wind noise a few times on the freeway. However, the Jeep Patriot inherently has a lot of wind noise so that may help block it out. I check it every couple weeks now and still it has not loosened at all since the initial installation. Be sure to follow instructions carefully! There are two different types of screws that come in the same bag. 4 of which are meant for the front plate, and the other 8 are meant for the body. Weatherproofing modifications: black silicone between all joints and all screw holes. This took some time and finesse to make it look clean but well worth it.

Excited for First Multi-Purpose Basket Mounted Jeep Renegade
I am adding this basket to a 2019 Jeep Renegade to up its Edginess factor. I read the reviews, and it seems that most people are reviewing the prior model. I did not find any issues with the assembly at all and the all black hardware is a significant advantage when compared with other Baskets in this price category. The mounting hardware seems very sturdy and easy to use. By snapping the basket rails into the spacers, any possible noise or metal shaking on the road is eliminated. I will post some photos as soon as I get this fully mounted to my crossbeams (they were delayed 2 days). And then I will update the review after driving with it on the car for a while. Note: For the lubricant for the rubber pieces that protect the screws, I used Canola oil. Made the slippery enough to push along the rails. I elected to put them over the screw heads rather than under them as shown in the photo. I believe that this will help with long-term durability, but only time will tell. Update: Attached the basket to the crossbars today. Everything went smoothly. I used the widest setting possible, something that is determined by the length of the basket itself. This is the perfect size for a small vehicle like the Renegade. I am going to add a light bar up front, so anything larger would have interfered. Make sure that you have your front cross bar loose when you are centering the basket. Then center the basket to the car, not necessarily the cross bars in case they have been extended. The rear cross bar can stay locked down so that you have one static reference point. When tightening the brackets down, make sure they seat wholly on top of the two plastic nubs. This will ensure a tight fit when you finally screw them down. I am going to drive around for a few days and check the tightness. I will get back to you (my loyal readers...lol) after some general tests.

Excellent value.
Took 2 attempts to get here. First attempt got to the first shippers hub and got turned back due to damage. It arrives in an over box as well as the showroom box. It has decent packaging so it should get it to you no problems. My situation must have been a bad day for someone. Anyway Amazon processed through return and I ordered a replacement. Super simple to put together. 3 parts to frame. Several small screws, note: 4 screws without the self-Tapping end go to fairing. I had exactly the right amount of hardware so already felt like an all powerful wizard. After assembly gave it a few twists and tried to bend it. Feels super solid. Rubber sleeve over unions is not as obtrusive as I had originally expected. Mounted up on my van and centered it. Looks great.Drove 30 miles in to work. I noticed a little added noise from turbulence but not super annoying. 70 mph was not as loud as 55..whatever that is worth. With nothing in it and the fairing it provides a little bit of downforce. Going to use it for many things, bulky bags, firewood. It’s going to pay for itself in the time saved spotting my soccer mom van in any parking lot. The struggle is real. I know of a sound method to make a bike rack up there but can’t recommend it to anyone as certainly it’s not the intended use. I would say this is light duty. Certainly not near as substantial as the racks from Thule, Yakima,Küat etc. For the price, simplicity and convenience this really can’t be beat.

Great rack for price
I bought this item after reading other people's reviews. It came super fast, and with all parts. As rust seemed to be a concern or some peoples review, I sprayed the complete basket and applied electrical tape at the connecting seems. It took me 30 minutes to assemble. Add another 20 minutes and I had it mounted on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee with no problem. Easy to assemble and so far so good. I expect the item to last me many years.

No no no
Extremely disappointing! Only reason it got 1 star is they the measurements right. Horrible construction and fitment. Wind fairing is plastic and under sized. Already had rust on it fresh out of the box. Seen bigger screws and hardware on kids toys.
