Malory Towers: First Term: Book 1

This classic set of stories about a British boarding school is great fun for pre-teen girls. It will take them on endless adventures, and will help them explore some of their own fears and hopes. On occasion the language is a bit dated, but it remains a lively and endearing set of stories.

Read this to a class of children who had never heard of Enid Blyton. The loved it. They understand more about boarding schools since Harry Potter. Enid Blyton knows how to create suspense and adventure. I gave it to the library as they are not acquainted with her books like other countries.

Well I loved the book a lot .I love to read books about boarding school ,and malory towers happens to be one of my favourites. The character of Darrel reminds me of my temper , and I too am fortunate to have a calm friend like Sally. This book inspired me to go to a boarding school though in that case I am not as lucky as Darrel

This book is highly recommended for children more than 10 years old.I teaches valuable lessons about girls.IN my option girls will love this book.Adventures here I come for Malory towers

I grew up reading Blyton's stories in German, and now I'm reading them with my kids in English. Although obviously "aged", the emotions and experiences of girls remain the same, and I'm getting ready to order the next since this is a series. The Malory Towers books deal with a single child and her life in boarding school while the St. Clare's series include twin sisters and their shenanigans. Enjoy!

This is a great book for kids under the Age of 15 I loved reading this book. It is very interesting and exiting

Read the book as a child and loved it. Bought for my granddaughter. She hasn't completed it yet. Condition was good.
