An impressive tent with really cool features like the built-in screen room and darkroom technology.
It's not perfect but it's one hell of a tent. It's fairly easy to setup taking me about 20 minutes the first time and in pitch dark too. It's spacious and I really love the built-in screen room. There's no bug or rain so we used the screen room as a storage and stepping stone to the tent. I really like it that my shoes and dry in the morning and other things that we might need is right there without taking up inner tent room. The darkroom technology was great allowing us to not be bothered when the sunrise early in the morning. It fits a queen size airbed and a full size foam pad and I still have room to safely use the tent heater in the corner. The only thing that this tent could be better is if the screen room is properly covered by the rainfly. The tent is stylish and it's just the right size.

Dark and cozy...bug free ☺️
Went camping for the first time in awhile! Researched a lot of tents before selecting this one. The Dark room technology won me over and boy does it work. The front screened porch was also a feature I was excited about and that worked great too. Keeps bugs and critters out while keeping your shoes and belongings accessible and dry. Set up was fairly easy. I didn’t even read the directions and had it set up in 20 min. I purchased the tent light bulbs and hung one from the outside front of the tent and another from the ring in the middle of the tent inside. Very happy with the purchase. Plenty of room for a full and twin mattress or one queen. Was perfect for 2 people and would have accommodated 3. Seems sturdy and well made. The back of the tent has a large open screened area that made for a nice star filled scene. Temp dropped to 46 so I decided to put the top on. Certainly dark enough for a nappy poo now ❤️

Great tent and dog friendly!
I browsed a ton of different style tents before purchasing this one and I am mostly happy with it. We took it on its maiden voyage this last weekend and noticed a few things holding it back. I’ll start with the pros: -Darkroom technology was great. Definitely not as bright as all my other tents. Kept it cool! -The porch/screen front area is awesome! Our dog liked chilling in it and when it was sunny we set up two small chairs inside to shelter from some sun. -Spacious. For a queen sized air mattress comfortably with room around it for your bags and stuff. -Super simple set up. I set this up by myself in about 10 minutes including stakes are rainfly. Sets up like most tents with nothing fancy or weird about the process, which was nice. Cons: Thin material. When setting it up we noticed a tiny hole in one the of walls and when breaking it down o noticed the same size hold below it on the floor. Looked like whatever made the hole was the same pierce that made both. Easy fixes so I’m not too upset. -When sitting in the front porch area for some reason there’s a strip of mesh that’s on the floor where it connects to the main tent. Obviously since it’s at the front door of the tent, it sees the most travel and will rip fairly easy. After just two days of use a hole tore through that mesh part. -the zippers in the front looked like they were barely sewn on. I posted a picture for reference. Looks like it’s already separating from the tent which is why I wouldn’t recommend this tent for rainy weather conditions. Overall it’s a decent tent all around, but I would advise against using it in anything but perfect weather.

All round great budget friendly tent
Everything was great about this tent's high quality. My only suggestion is if they could make a 6 person instant or easy up that's with the dark room/cooler tent style. Putting the poles together is a pain. I also liked the little awing part in the front of the tent in case you have a little stove or want to store chairs and shoes. There is also just enough room to standup in to help you get dressed. It's rained a few times and been extremely cold while I have used this, it's not made for keeping the cold out really but water hasn't been a problem. This has also held up against leave it up for more then a week or so then other tents, less uv fading and able to repeatedly use it longer. The best feature I'd say is that seems be a bit more weather resistant then more other tents and that the insides stay slightly cooler then other tents in the sun. Down side is that it isn't a instant up.

My favorite tent!
Purchased in 2017 and its just barely starting to go out on me after being taken out multiple times every summer. Poles are still in great shape, but 9 years later it's getting some wear on the top with little patches of the black sun-blocking material flaking off. Easy to set up, take down, store, and transport. The 4 person tent has the perfect amount of space for 2 adults with lots of gear, and the porch area works well for storing dirty shoes (as long as its not raining). =)

Excellent tent!
I bought this tent back in 2020. It’s now 2024, we’ve used it several times and it has proven its worth! We live in the PNW where rain is always possible, and we’ve been sufficiently poured on while camping. This tent, with the fly, definitely keeps you dry, but some water may leak in through the side walls below the fly, and the screen room will most definitely get soaked since it’s not covered. Water has never pooled on the bottom, and you’ll only know the walls are wet from touching it. I really like the Dark Room Technology. Of course it’s not going to block out ALL of the light, this is just a tent after all, but you won’t be waking up with the sun like other tents. This tent is easy to set up and take down. We’re pretty proud of the fact that we’ve never had to remove the stitches in the bag to make it larger! This is the nicest tent we’ve owned and I would recommend it to others.

Not the greatest, not the worst
I really wanted to love this tent. I've tent camped for many years and needed a new tent for my wife and I. I researched many tents before going with this one. Here are a few points to consider before purchasing: The darkness is nice, and seemed to keep the tent cooler than I would have expected it to be. The darkness was a little irritating due to needing a light to do anything inside the tent unless it was fully daylight out. Im a minimalist when it comes to Flashlights and lanterns though, so maybe that wouldnt matter to other people. It held up well in pouring rain, and didn't even have the lines staked out. The porch floor did hold some water and I had to unstake the corners to drain it off. There is a screen section that runs between the porch and tent floors to allow for drainage, but it didnt prevent the pooling of water on the porch floor. Using this tent with a full size air mattress is irritating. The height of the tent does no good with a full/queen size mattress in it because it takes up the majority of the floor space, thus preventing you from standing in the center where the greater height is. Im 5'2", and I hated it. If using with two cots or camp pads on either side of the tent, then it would work. The zipper door on the tent was difficult to reach at the top from outside because of how much the tent walls slope to the center point, but maybe not an issue for taller people. The zipper on the screen porch was really annoying because there is not a stake where the zippers meet at the ground. This means when trying to unzip it (pull the zipper up from the ground), you have to hold the screen wall at the bottom in order to pull the zipper up. This is extra annoying when trying to exit the tent because, once again, the walls are really sloped, making it difficult to reach down to the edge to get the zipper, much less also hold the floor down in order for the zipper to function. I dont understand why there is not a stake loop there to fix this issue, and how Coleman didn't see this issue in the design. The ventilation was pretty good. The back screen is large, and there is a window on both sides of the tent, plus two windows on the front (one being the top half of the door). The rainfly is propped out on the sides, and is held up off the back screen enough for ventilation to occur easily. I would say this would be a good tent for teens or young adults who are not using a full+ mattress, but add your own stake loop on the screen entrance.

Easy to set up, great starter tent!
I’d give this tent a 4.5 stars. This tent was very easy to set up, less than 10 minutes mostly by myself. We set it up in the backyard before taking it camping to make sure there were no tears and to get a general idea of the size. Overall, it is a very good starter tent especially for the price. I hope it will hold up well over our next several trips. Pros: -Easy to set up -Screened patio is great for gear storage -Can fit two double air mattresses or one queen with some wiggle room -Looks great, good overall quality -Held up well in a southern rainstorm Some things to know: -Backside of the tent is just a bug screen. If you want any privacy, you have to set up the rainfly which completely covers the back and limits airflow -Limited number of pockets/hooks for gear inside the tent (only two small wall pockets) -Front screened patio has no rain protection -The tent seemed very taut on the poles, I am slightly worried about tearing in the future. Despite these few negative features, I’d say this is one of the best tents at this price range on the market.

Excelente opción
Práctica, de buen tamaño! Me encanto.

Ease of Pitching
Fast fixing it up but material quite fragile so must handle with care. Tent entrance need to face wind direction to have more cooling effect since there is only one entrance. Awesome space for 6p tent and no regret buying it.

Rain fly is light blocking but very small
This tent is spacious and easily fits 2 queen air mattresses with room for gear or single mattresses below. But, the light blocking claim is very misleading. The rain fly is blackout, and the window covers are as well, but none of the actual tent material is light blocking. So, it is still bright inside and the rain fly doesn’t cover much. The screen room has no rain protection so you can’t actually store anything in there without it getting wet. I think this is a very expensive tent for a 6-person, considering the claims made are pretty misleading, but we do find it spacious inside and good enough for us. I will note that you must peg it down to have the screen room stand up and that is really tough to do on the gravel pads at campgrounds nowadays. We have gone through two sets of metal pegs since buying it. This isn’t really a design flaw, but there are other tents that are freestanding without the need to peg like this.
