The Luminous Ones

Let me start by saying I don't read fiction often and I especially don't read science fiction EVER. But! I am a fan of Nicholas Ashbaugh on his social media platforms and so thought after downloading a sample that I would like to support him in this first endeavor.I'll start with what I didn't like: it was wordy. I read a lot but there were a lot of words I had never heard before and I felt they were intentionally used to be obscure. I didn't like the change in tone/languages, there seemed to be many words in Swedish and then words that sounded middle eastern and then other words that seemed greek, this also corresponded to the many different Natures of the characters who were known as Greek gods or as astral bodies, angels or other entities. It was like there were layers and layers which on one hand good for you for knowing all of this but for the layman reader it was too much.As for the good: the storyline was very good, it was captivating and thought out, the characters were interesting and each given their own story.Overall it was a valiant effort on the part of this new author. I read that it took him over 10 years to create this book and no doubt with all the research and layers that are included; however, I would suggest going forward that the use of an Editor to keep things a little more streamlined might make it more readable. As a reader of this novel I felt that there was so much going on at all times that I couldn't fully immerse myself in one thing and perhaps lost some of the beauty of the book because of it.

Amazon offered the first chapter so I could start reading. I thought that was great! The book came a day earlier than expected.I enjoyed reading the beginning of the story. I have not finished the book but found it very interesting. I can totally see the novel become a movie 🍿.I really like the author and wanted to check out the book. I recommend it. ;)

I enjoyed the journey to other worlds with the characters in this book. It was a long, but very interesting read. It flowed very well. I recommend this book to everyone who thinks or believes there are higher spiritual realms somewhere out there.

Thank you Nicholas! I love your you tube presence and wanted to find same presence in your story... truly a lovely story...about universal love. And a great fantasy, or is it? Lol. This book is amazing however mysteriously is missing from my home. While reading I experienced the author’s presence he has the key to open up many doors and the knowledge to help out humanity. Thank you. May you always be protected and keep moving on to the next chapter of your life.

As a fan of his YouTube channel, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Luninous Ones is a cerebral and adventurous dive into the world(s) many of us already know exist. Ashbaugh seamlessly weaves a tale that spans mythologies, esoteric philosophies, and time itself. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in life beyond the 3-D.

Deeply insightful, beautifully written guide for emerging and seasoned light workers. We all possess aspects of light and shadow. It is up to us to choose light and make sacrifices to ensure good wins over evil. Worth reading more than once to gain new insights each time. Great endeavor- count me in on team Nicholas!

I love a good sci-fi story. Nicholas captured my imagination and attention in the first chapter. The main character in the story is a true hero taking us on his journey of self discovery. Great story. Fun and written well.

I love this book!!! Nicholas Ashbaugh is truly a genius! Nicholas is such a talented Author and Tarot card, reader. Nicholas holds a magical spirit within and is a worker of light and love which the world needs more of!I recommend this book to anyone who wants to grow spiritually.
