Hopefully they will be durable and last. They seem to be somewhat lite weight for their size so they shouldn’t add much extra weight. I wear a wide size 10 1/2 and these were perfect lengthwise with maybe a 1/4” trim off in length. These are wide enough for probably a 3w or 4w boot size. Photos above show measurements of width which is not listed in the description. I used a scroll blade on a jigsaw to trim to fit which worked nice but a good utility knife would work too, just leave a little extra to shape to fit. I used 2 extra large c clamps in rear and middle and 3 smaller in front to attach with shoe goo for my adhesive since it is water proof and have had good luck with in the past and spread it on with a putty knife.
