ARKON Mounts Metal 4 Hole AMPS to 17mm Ball Adapter

Fits my Garmin 65 GPS perfectly. . I used it to make a custom mount to fit in the cellphone space of a Crosstrek. Worked well, keeps GPS off the dash and windshield. Sturdy metal construction.

I try to install 17mm ball mounts in all my vehicles (usually two). This makes upgrading to the latest iOttie cordless fast charger quick and easy. However, I have noticed that the plastic 17mm balls are too slick and the phones are getting heavy enough that they will sag down the mount over time. Especially noticeable in a truck that has stiffer suspension. Anyway, these allow a great crip by the phone mount, don't slip, and are obviously stronger than plastic. Highly recommend!BTW- The four bolt base pattern lined up perfectly with a ProClip mount in my Superduty. Nice when something like this works out.

It mounted perfectly on my GPS mount, but this can be used with a HOST of devices and it will last for a very long time. All metal construction is miles beyond the plastic ball mounts and it won't be damaged over time. I expect this to outlast my cell phone, GPS and maybe even my car.

Fit perfectly where the mount for the garmin was on my faring. Put a phone holder on it, looks way better than handle mount kits.

Bought many mounts and this one is as sturdy and has similar quality as the more expensive brands. The metal ball is exactly 17 mm where others I have bought are variable sized causing me to reorder. Plastic balls do not work well for motorcycle applications and seem to be oversized when measured with a machinist caliper.

This is a wonderful product but did not fit the holders we have. Just be careful to order correct ball size.

This ball has machined lines in it so it grips. I've been a machinist for 32 years and this piece is perfect. It does not allow for the device, in this case a Garmin, to move. That is what you need. Beautiful design. I'm mounting it to a klr650 and I'll be damned. Something that works as intended but much better

This ball creates a sturdy support for any 17mm socket. Best I have ever purchased.
