All i had to do was get a pin to secure. I'd advise you to contact the seller and request the brackets **Q: Does it fit 07 ford expedition** A: This fits both 2 inch and 1.25 inch receivers. **Q: What is the measurement across the widest part of the circle? Does it cover the hitch receiver?** A: I am not sure about the diameter...I'd guess it is between 4 and 5 inches. But it does cover the receiver. I have a 2008 Tundra and it looks great on it. **Q: Is skull made of metal also** A: yes, it is all metal but the logo is not anodized.
