I purchased this product because my 4 month old kitten was shredding roll after roll of toilet paper. Not only was he destroying them, he was ingesting the toilet paper and he needed an urgent visit to his veterinarian because he was vomiting and constipated. To keep him safe, I purchased this item and haven’t had him shred any rolls since it has been installed. Though this product was more expensive than I would have liked, it is saving me money in the long run by not rushing my kitten to his vet. This product is sturdy and well manufactured. My only complaint is that it does not fit the large toilet paper rolls. The margins are to tight and the toilet paper roll does not rotate in the holder like it should. Despite this inconvenience, it is a minor one and this product is worth your money.

We've had kittehs before, but have never had one that played with the toilet paper spindle, like you see in so many videos online. Until now. Somekitty is still a kitten, and about a month ago she discovered the joys of unrolling TP. Doesn't matter if you hang it "over" or "under". Or if you leave it vertical. Or if you leave it on the lid of the toilet tank. Or a shelf next to the toilet. She found a way to unroll and sometimes shred it. Can't shut her out of that bathroom, because that's her bathroom, too (litterbox). A search of cat-proof toilet roll dispensers finally turned this up. I was hesitant, because it mounts on the wall, and our wall is tile. Not easy to mount things to. Plus, we already have a dispenser we like there; removing it will leave a hole in one tile. BUT... I found that using a double-sided strip of wall-fastening-tape on the mounting bracket, and resting this actually on the existing roll holder, works very well! It takes a slight bit more effort to get the paper when you need it, but it's worth it to have the TP intact, on the roll, and not shredded!

My dog stays away from the toilet paper roll because of this. Glad I purchased it. We use Scotts extra soft because it comes in smaller rolls and fits inside. Getting the mega rolls is not for this product.

Seemed easy to install. Took a few times to get used to. We have 5 cats that would love to shred our tp when they were bored or annoyed. NOW THEY CAN'T!!! We bought 2 for both bathrooms and now no more mess to wake up to !!! A TP life saver!!!!

I ordered two of these but one arrived with a cracked plastic panel. Plus they come loose from the wall with the slightest bump. We’ve remounted it to the wall three times and it still comes loose. Bad wall mount design.

my cat refused to leave the toilet paper alone until this saved the day! just be aware that if you get the bigger rolls of toilet paper it will be hard to get out until you use it down

I’ll start with the bad off the bad. The screws are super cheapo and easy to strip. The mounting holes are not easy to reach and it’s a pain to keep the top up while dealing with the mounting process. Ok so on with the good stuff. My family recently adopted a golden retriever puppy. Any golden owners know the sound of a dog attacking a toilet paper roll. Our easy fix was keeping the bathroom doors closed, but it doesn’t always happen. I installed these as a backup to protect those defenseless rolls from puppy attacks. The installation process is not all that bad, but I do wish I had replaced the screws with some better ones. I’m going to have to use a screw remover on at least one if I ever want to replace the holder(s). Now that they’re in place, they work as they should. We haven’t done a “test” with the dog yet, but it does appear that it would be a daunting task to destroy an entire toilet paper roll. Looks wise they look fine to me and my wife said they’re fine. They’re not high society, but they look good to me.

This was a life saver. Our German shepherd was hell bent on eating toilet paper like it was her job and we were going through roll after roll. This fits almost all tp brands with ease, it’s very easy to dispense tp, and sleek!

It dose what I wanted but cheap and flimsy not worth the money they charge for it
