Catit Senses 2.0 Ball Dome Interactive Cat Toy - Motion-Activated Cat Toy with Two Modes of Play, Batteries Not Included

It occasionally amuses my 7 month old kitten. But he was able to deftly pluck the ball out within 5 minutes of playing with it.

Not the greatest, cat gets bored with it quickly.

It's got a switch on it to turn it off & on and it's motion detected so it gets Ghee Ghee curiosity and the game is on!

I've had this for 20 minutes and it's already been rendered useless by my cats. I installed batteries and put catnip in the ball, and set it out for my cats. They stared at it curiously, and one by one, they approached it to sniff it and cautiously touch it. At that point, I got up to use the bathroom. Within the 2 minutes I was gone, one of them pulled the ball out and sent it to the realm of lost cat toys. Now what?If I may be so bold as to suggest a couple of design modifications - make the ball bigger or the holes in the dome smaller so the ball can't be pulled out, and make the dome removable (either have it screw on/off or pop on with a release button to remove it) to facilitate cleaning (even though the ball was only there a few minutes, there were catnip crumbs all over).

I turned it on , the cats were amazed how the balls would move on their own, making then more excited!!

Its a good quality tot but is a little loud. My kitten likes to play with it but its too loud to keep on.

My cats had no interest in this toy not sure they even played with it once. They usually love Catit products but this was not a hit.

I wanted to love this, to have my cat have something to engage him throughout the day. Unfortunately the thing is so darn *loud* that there's no way we can keep this thing. We tried it on carpet and wood floor, but no matter where in our 1 bedroom apartment, the gears of the thing grind louder than the dishwasher or washing machine.

My cat loves his new toy. It keeps him interested and it’s renewed his excitement for his Senses track again.

I think catit is to blame for this product being such an underwhelming waste of $40. When I first turned this product on - and the motor screeched to life as if it was set to retire before being forced on - it did not bode well for my confidence. When the movement of the plate proved to be as pitiful as the chance of flowers growing in the shade, I knew I wasted my money. Don't buy this, is really the best thing to know. The motor is powerless and it tosses the plate around with such lackluster effort, you actually wonder if the product is working at all. The ball barely moves around and all in all, just does nothing. You can buy better toys, from lesser brands, and walk away with more toys, less wasted money and a happier cat. Normally I like catit, but they let my confidence down with this.
