Not a bad storyline but some words are repeated on some pages. I speak both English and Dutch fluently and some of the Dutch words can be simplified for the readers this book was meant for (ages 3-6). Also certain phrases aren't too "practical" either and aren't really used in the every day Dutch language. I found a couple grammatical errors in the Dutch translation as well which I crossed out myself and corrected since I don't want my kids learning the language this way. In a nutshell it sometimes seems as if the english version was translated using Google Translate (no offence to the translator).

I am dutch and there were a lot of words written wrong, sure made me laugh 🤣 still nice story to it.

Don’t buy if you want proper Dutch! I was so excited to surprise my husband with this book! Thought it would be awesome to have a book we could both read. Turns out the author just did google translate or something?! Poor sentence structure, spelling mistakes and some words written in English even though there is a Dutch word ex: Nectar. Not written by a fluent speaker.
