Very easy to repair my kid's glove with this kit. The needle works great. The lace seems strong. If you are a first timer, take some photos of how the existing lacing looks before you start. Also, like the video suggests, only pull out a bit of the old lacing at a time, and then follow the path through with the new lacing. That way you only have to remember one or two steps of the lace pattern at a time.

Heavy lace not flat

Works great. This was my first time attempting to re-do a glove, and this made it fairly easy. The lacing that came with the needle is good quality -- pliable yet strong. I only wish the taper (the rate at which it goes from a point to the diameter of the tube) was a little more gentle. The glove I relaced is over 35 years old, and the leather split slightly on a couple of the holes.

I have an larger outfielder’s glove (12.5”) and needed three to relace everything. The leather is good quality and would buy again.

To repair a catchers Mitt, leather straps were great lenght, worked great

Tool makes it much easier. Lace is good and fits nicely

We used this to stitch the bottoms of our LlBean slippers. It worked great!!!
