Copper Bar Spoon - Decoratively Twisted Stainless Steel - Copper Plated 10.5" Long (Copper, 10.5 Inches)

I love this tool! Purchased an other manufacturer's normal stainless steel version at the same time, have used them both and they both get the job done spectacularly well. This one however wins hands down for its beauty and elegance. I may use the SS one if just puttering for my personal drinking pleasure, but this copper spoon will definitely come out for those special occasions and when trying to impress guests while entertaining.

Came in quickly and under perfect condition! Surface is shiny and scratch-free and it looks absolutely beautiful. I've had a couple of bar spoons and this one is definitely on the better quality side of similar products.

Nice piece for those of us afflicted with a copper addiction... (plated, not solid, but that's ok.) arrived properly packed, but upon removing it from the box, it was bent. Not a huge deal, but slightly defective none the less. I know the flat base is designed as a muddler, but it would be nice if it doubled as a standing bases as well.

Plating is ultra thin and wore off with minimal use. Not worth the premium price

I chose to spend a little more on a mixing spoon because I wanted to make sure I got something of a decent quality. I can't speak to the longevity of this spoon yet but straight out of the box I'm already disappointed in the quality. The muddler is bent and there are a bunch of nicks and the copper coating is sloppy. The copper coating doesn't even cover the surface.

Well made, the copper color really pops in the sea of stainless/glass bar accoutrements. The muddler at the end will not be adequate for say citrus / botanicals but works perfectly fine for soaked sugar cubes for classics (Old Fashioned / Sazeracs) - demerra sugar cubes will require a little more soaking/time to breakdown. The spoon end was a little larger than I expected but the angle at the base does make it easier to stir better with the spoon stem in a vertical position esp. when the glass is near full.

absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. Just feels good in the hand and complements my copper bar tools sooooo nicely. If you are on the fence, just go for it! I'm sure you easily waste more money than this with trivial things that you will never even remember... this is a good investment.

I will..."i've been using the same ratty old long silver teaspoons to stir my martinis for years now. feeling rather shabby about it, i sought out something with some savoir faire.. this spoon has it in spades. i don't know that the martini tastes any better, or if the copper ions are extending my life or anything, but as we all know it is better to look good than to feel good. buy this spoon and buy it soon.
