This works great

We camp and don't carry a lot of single use appliances, like a 120v toaster. With the gas grill or even griddle, we make toast using this 'toaster.' This is half the price of the 'name brand' you'll find in local stores, or even online. It is the same quality, just as good, and makes toast just as well as the more expensive one. Folds flat, doesn't weigh much. Makes unto 4 slices at a time. Don't waste a lot of 'bread' on the name brand when this works as well as it does.

This stove-top toaster is based on a simple design I have used for decades, however, it is far more resistant to rusting. The stainless steel it is made from will blacken a bit (due to the heat?) but there is no rust to clean off after not using it for a while. It works well on a propane camping stove.

My item arrived in good shape on time built far better than the days of old very substantial excellent conductor of heat. We want the toast toasted especially with lobster salad sandwich in New England.

This camping toaster did not toast. I used it on my gas stove. Warms up bread and is fairly sturdy and looks like it will last a while but toast… no. The angle of the bread holder means no heat distribution to the bread but goes straight up. Bit of a pain to set up.

Convince little camping toaster

Handy rack for holding bread while you toast with a blowtorch. Using on a stove however, it is quite useless.

I tried this on a propane stove instead of an electric toaster but it uses lots of propane and you have to monitor it , turning the bread to get passable results. I have the battery and inverter power so I dumped this and got an electric.
