Awesome value!
This ping pong table is a great value. It took about 2 hours to assemble and the instructions were incredibly well written. Everything fit together as it should and it will serve me well. The table top is 9/16" particle board with a vinyl layer on the top and bottom surface. This should be durable. This was delivered by FedEx and was packed very well. Everything was in perfect shape when it arrived. Our FedEx guy dropped it off in the garage, so all I had to do was cut open the carton and start assembly.

Great table. Here are some things to be ready for...
The product was packaged very well: Everything was boxed up with plenty of padding and then that box was inside an outer box. Do yourself a favor and have an electric screwdriver ready for this job. There are a total of 131 screws and assembly took almost 3 hours. Not difficult, just a lot of parts and a lot of screws. All of the holes are pre-drilled, which is nice, but some are just slightly out of place. If you are attaching a part that uses more than 1 screw, get all of those screws snug, but not tight, and then tighten each one a little until they are all tightened. When attaching the brackets that hold the table halves together, make sure the halves stay even (flush with each other on the ends of the table). If you trust the pre-drilled holes, the halves might not line up. When you get to step 19, it's going to tell you to use 2 more of part A3 (a bolt) but you will have used all of those by this point. The instructions should be telling you to use part A13. I believe there is a typo in the instructions. Regarding the "single played" set-up: when half of the table is raised, there is a gap of about 8" between the lower playing surface and the raised playing surface (pictured). Maybe that's a common thing with table tennis tables. Lastly, the plastic decorative covers with the ESPN logo that go on the legs of the table--those covers are extremely thin and breakable. One of mine came out of the box already chipped, despite the incredible job they did packing it (pictured). The paddles and balls that come with the table are of low quality. I'm not even sure those are real ping pong balls. Overall, very satisfied so far. The playing surface seems extremely durable.
