Works Amazingly Well for Poultry Care
The Vetericyn Plus Poultry Care Spray is a must have for anyone who raises chickens or other birds. I use it for small cuts, scaly leg issues, and irritated skin, and it always helps the healing process quickly. It is gentle, has no strong smell, and my chickens do not seem bothered when I apply it. I love that it is safe to use around the eyes and doesn’t require rinsing. It keeps wounds clean and protected, and I can see a clear difference in how fast my birds recover. Five stars for this product. It gives me peace of mind knowing my flock is cared for with something that truly works.

Works great!
This product worked very well. My rooster had some skin infection and it healed it quickly and there was no smell. It was easy to spray on him and it lasted a long time in between applications. The size is a good value for the money and I would use it again on my flock.

successfully used on parrot with skin issue
We were unsure about using anything on pet parrot since birds are such delicate and sensitive creatures. After much reading, decided to try this. Parrot had suffered some kind of small skin injury and was starting to self mutilate, turning a simple scrape into a bigger skin infection in a big hurry. Spoke to veterinarian about topical healing aids, and vet also mentioned this, but in all treatment cases, must proceed cautiously to make sure no adverse reaction by the specific individual bird. In our case, we used sparingly to test, because this was on crop/chest area, but it does seem to have made her more comfortable (wounds scabbing over get dry and itchy prompting the bird to peck and fuss at it) and seems to have facilitated healing. Certainly hasn't seemed to do any harm. She seems to calm down more after each application.

Good product
The spray handle was broken off upon receiving. Fortunately I found another handle that would fit so I could use content.

Working very well for my cockatiel
It’s working for my cockatiel’s foot and wings. She is feeling so much better after just a few days. I already see about a 70% reduction in swelling in her foot. She is limping a lot less and using that foot again to scratch. Her wings had a couple of spots that weren’t growing feathers and they are starting to fill in again as well. I highly recommend this product.

Saved my chicken!
My sweetest hen was attacked by a neighbor’s dog and suffered many bites and a big tear on her underbelly. Her wounds were severe and I was convinced she wouldn't make it. I sprayed this on her wounds twice a day and within 3 weeks she was all healed up. This is a must have for chickens owners.

Works great on featherless necks!
Our rooster suddenly lost all its feathers on its neck. No injury that we know of, and no molting either. After doing some research, we determined it was probably parasites. We hadn't spread our food-grade diatomaceous earth lately, so started with that trial. Didn't help. So we bought this spray, and even though it said use 4X per day, we only used it 1X per day, because we're old and can't catch that wild thing. We had to wait until he went to roost at night, and did the sneak-attack spray. After about 2 weeks, the feathers started visibly growing back out, and now after 3 weeks, they're about an inch long. There is no odor, and he is now used to getting sprayed, only turning away slightly while we douse his neck. It's easy to use when he's on the roost, so for only using it a quarter of the time it's called for, I'd say it's doing very well. We bought this at the encouragement of some other chicken-owner friends, who say they use it for injuries.

I’ve been using this in conjunction with an Epsom salts bath on my cockerel for just over 48 hours to help treat bumble foot. In that time, the hard, black scab that had formed has now fallen off leaving clean, healthy looking tissue. I will continue to use this spray as I thinks it’s brilliant. Its main active ingredient is hypochlorous acid, which is a naturally occurring microbial/disinfectant that kills the bacteria in short order and helps the healing process.

This product really helped to heal the wound my chicken had under her wing. The old scab came off and the new skin grew back. She is almost ready to rejoin the flock. Once her feathers grow back.
