9-inch Round Banneton Proofing Basket

Absolutely love this Banneton!!Works wonderfully!!Before first use spray inside with water, dust with flour. Let set for 24 hours. Dust with more flour before dropping in dough....I had NO sticking!! YEAH!See pics for my 1st attempt! I baked it in a Cast Iron Dutch Oven...YUM!Super happy! I plan to buy other sizes and shapes!Would make a lovely gift for the bread baker in your life!

This is a better product than the two proofing baskets I purchased from World Market. Sturdier and better bread release. Per their directions, do not wash or shake out the flour between uses.

Mine has this weird coating on it, almost like a paint, which comes off on my sour dough if I don't dust it with enough flour.

Well made and functional.

This basket was everything I wished for. It leaves lovely rings around my artisan bread after it is baked. Light in weight and a perfect size. I ended up getting two of them.

After receiving it I gave a good review but now I am going back with a warning: Since I didn't use it right away I kept it in the original sealed plastic bag that it came into. One day as I was going to bake bread I discovered to my horror that bugs and bugs and bugs were swarming inside the sealed bag. I ran with the whole thing to the trash bin. NO MORE "MADE IN CHINA" FOR ME.

This brotform makes me very happy. I love it. Before first use, mist with water and dust well with flour, then let dry to season the basket; shake out and dust again before each use. No sticking. Beautiful loaves. Perfect! I am ordering another size from BrickOvenBaker.
