### ⭐⭐⭐ Attractive, but not quite as sturdy as desired

The plastic center button of my previous doorbell button had cracked from exposure to the heat and the sun in the desert region in which I live. Not unexpected. I purchased this one because it has a metal center button. The doorbell works just fine, but only after some challenges in the installation. In my case, this bell is mounted to a block and stucco wall. The recess in the wall was just barely large enough for the short cylindrical rear assembly to enter. In trying to mount it, it pushed the button assembly out of the front mounting plate. Once that happened, it would go back into the plate, but only loosely. I had to modify it from the back to prevent the button assembly from popping forward through the plate when the whole unit was pushed back into the wall. And if the rear cylindrical assembly even just touched the walls of the hole into which it was mounted, the button would get sticky. It was basically very fussy. But in the end, it is mounted, and works as advertised.
