Good points:1. It was a nice present from my wife and son in the wake of my retirement and the need for a new chair to replace the one I have worked on for a decade.2. The supplier returned the money without hesitation.Bad points:1. It arrived with both arms broken at the joint.

Got this chair yesterday and assembled without any problem, using it now. Am 120 lbs and the chair feels roomy and sturdy plus looks beautiful. These are my recommendations in addition to the pretty good instructions that come with the chair:1. Upon unpacking, array all parts on wide clean floor space and count all provided screws and washers.2. Remove all packing materials from the room before beginning assembly.2. Make sure chair back and arms are screwed in their slots before fully tightening them--this will make the fitting process really a breeze. Don't over-tighten as this is metal on wood.3. Inserting the casters may seem challenging at first because the written instructions for inserting the casters are unclear. However, there is a graphic showing how to position a provided wooden cleat between each caster wheel and then malleting the caster into its slot. Follow the graphic and the casters all click in easily.4. Gently mallet in the wooden screw plugs before sliding the chair onto the pneumatic pole to ensure you don't inadvertently damage the pole.And that's it. It's a pretty fantastic chair. Best of luck!

Excellent product but comes unassembled and does require some skill to put together.

Wunderschöner Drehstuhl im Vintage Look, der auch super bequem ist. Entgegen dem Produktfoto wurde der Stuhl mit einer gepolsterten Sitzfläche geliefert, die das Sitzen sehr angenehm macht. Auch der Zusammenbau war kein Problem mit den Tipps der Rezensenten hier: Schrauben erst ganz am Schluss anziehen, dann passt alles perfekt.Perfekt auch die Lieferzeit: gerade mal eine Woche von USA nach Deutschland. Schneller und besser geht‘s nicht.

Product is good, strong and sturdy. It came damaged in a couple of places. Though the damage is cosmetic and minor, it kinda disappoints me for paying this much money to have a damaged product. It's hectic to dismantle it and to return it. I am keeping it. Other than cosmetic damage. It's good. Easy to assemble. It took 45 minutes for single person assembly. I would have loved it better if its has not been damaged. Seller could have taken bit more care during quality inspection.

The chair is not ovely easy to assemble, recommend not tightening anything until all screws align. The wood itself is hard but not sure what specific type it is. Do not overtighten. Definately needs a soft cushion for the seat.
