Perfect for monopod
Well made, sturdy and perfect for a monopod top. Holds my big lenses great and provides the ability to tilt the lens and keep great stability below it. Big easy to handle knobs are easy to find and use under the lens without having to look away from the camera.

Works like a gimbal
This head has a very solid build, works flawlessly, and seems like it will last quite awhile. I did a lot of research on monopod heads and considered many others. This one works great for me even with very heavy lenses. I do keep a wrist strap or my camera strap tethered, however.

Reduced Size and Weight but Performs Like the "Big Boys".
I chose this tilting head to attach to a very light weight monopod (12 oz.). It's smaller and lighter than other monopod heads I have (the reason for its purchase), but the quality of construction doesn't take a back seat to those larger, more famous brands; it locks securely and when the knob is backed off the angle of tilt can be readjusted without the camera flopping over (as sometimes happens with ball heads). I did remove the screw clamp and replaced it with the lightest lever clamp I could find. The final product weighs just a little over a pound but is capable of holding securely anything under 20 lbs. Oh yes, I modified the carbon fiber monopod so it functions "upside down", the fat lower section at the bottom and this head and clamp at what would be the smaller, normally bottom end. (Don't snicker, it works better that way.)

REALLY IMPRESSED with the quality of this monopod head
REALLY IMPRESSED with the quality of this monopod head. This is lightweight, locks position securely, and has smooth action. I was looking to replace a ‘clunky’ and heavy monopod head with something better. This is a great product at a reasonable price. I have been impressed, overall, with the quality of LeoFoto products - I have bought Arca-Swiss camera plates and other items from them - and I am always happy with their products.

Appears to be RRS Quality
ARCA Swiss compatible monopod head. Works well, a great value for the money.

I may be in love with LeoFoto
After discovering this company a few weeks ago I have fallen more and more in love with their products. Though made in china everything I have received so far has a real solid professional build to it. There seems to be no slop in their quality control. This tilt head is no exception. Simple and easy with a really elegant design. This is exactly what I needed for my monopod, replacing a $300 overkill ballhead.

Great for monopods
No complains, I like Leofoto stuff and this works great. It's a lot cheaper than RRS and seems to hold up great.

Excellent value for the money
Very impressed with the Leofoto products that I have purchased so far, and this is no exception. Large knob to lock/unlock the tilt. High quality craftmanship. You don't expect this kind of quality at this price point, but Leofoto delivers. Comes with a quality pouch, allen keys and 3/8 to 1/4 reducing adapter. Added this to my recent purchase of the Leofoto MP-365C carbon fiber monopod. No regrets and I highly recommend. Will come in handy when using my OM-1 Camera and Olympus 150-400mm lens.

Only OK for lenses - not for camera bodies.
Decent lightweight monopod head option for long lenses.BE AWARE - as the base cannot be rotated 90 degrees this makes using a camera body on it impracticable. The quick-release plate is best binned - or given to a photographer you do not like!I am old enough to remember sliding on frozen ponds in hobnail boots - because with steel on ice you could slide further faster. The raised plastic top of the quick release plate seems just as slippy as hob nail boots on ice. Combined with just a single tripod fitting screw makes it useless for preventing lens sideways twist.Replacing the QR plate with something better (does any manufacturer make anything worse?) makes it OK.

Great Two Way Tilt Head
This is a well made and solid product. As a one handed lefty camera buff I need a good quality two way head for my monopod. I can find no shortcomings with this product. What I received was exactly as advertised and expected. Highly recommended

Tight fit
I use longer plates than the one supplied. I tried several different manufacturers and is is tight/difficult getting the plate into the clamp. It would be perfect if the clamp opened another 2 mm. If you don't use the stop pins on the bottom of the plate (i use these pins), than you can remove one and simply slide the end of the plate into the clamp. If you are like myself and do not like both knobs on the same side you can loosen the screw and rotate the clamp resulting in the 2 knobs being on opposite sides.
