I was very skeptical because I’m aware that there is no product that the medical community would consider truly effective stretch mark prevention. But, this stuff works. First, I’ll explain how it worked for me and what my routine was. Then I’ll go into some of the secondary benefits. About me: I’m 35 and have some existing stretch marks (ex: I have them on my thighs from puberty, etc.) So, I know I am predisposed to them. Therefore, upon learning I was pregnant, I was diligent in my research and application. As I type this, I am 39 weeks pregnant without a single pregnancy stretch mark, despite fully anticipating them based on my skin composition. I am shocked. I applied Hatch Body Oil to my breasts, stomach and hips 2x/day (morning and night) from the day of my positive pregnancy test. I will be the first to admit I liberally applied this, throughout my entire pregnancy, despite the $64 price point. For example, I doubled up on my stomach area. Throughout my pregnancy, I used around 10 bottles, and plan to continue purchasing during my postpartum period. This is an investment to be sure, and the only reason I could see someone not hitting the Buy button immediately. However, I did not mind the expense based on how effective and high quality it was. I also think that starting early, way before I was showing, helped condition my skin appropriately to withstand the eventual belly growth. The most important part of this oil, for me, is that it worked— surprisingly well. However, there are secondary benefits that I will explain here: 1. Luxurious packaging and experience: This oil comes in a glass bottle with a glass pipet/dropper for application. Using this oil felt luxurious and the packaging high quality. Incorporating this felt like an addition to my beauty and skin care routine, not something messy or medicinal. 2. High quality oil. Period: I would recommend this as a high quality body oil even outside of pregnancy and outside of my original use case. I’ve used many body oils in the past just for moisturizing purposes and this one is the best I’ve used. It is non-greasy and absorbs incredibly quickly. As mentioned, I used this oil morning and night and it did not damage my clothing or pajamas. It leaves skin feeling very soft and supple without any “oily” residue. 3. Attractive scent: Light, attractive scent 4. Overall skin condition: Outside of preventing stretch marks, the skin itself in the areas where I applied it is softer, smoother, and healthier than ever. I highly recommend Hatch Body Oil to anyone, particularly expecting mothers. This is an high quality product worthy of the investment!

Purchased this for the second time! I used this oil during my first pregnancy 2 years ago and just purchased again for the second. Not sure if it’s genetics or the oil, but I did not have a single stretch mark after my pregnancy. I used afterwards during recovery since it is so hydrating. No weird smell, not too oily. It is expensive, but I believe it works! Love this product!

This belly oil is amazing! It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, keeps my skin soft and hydrated, and has a lovely subtle scent. So far it's been perfect for preventing stretch marks during my pregnancy. Also has a luxurious feel.

I swore by this during and after pregnancy. Of course stretch marks are genetic, but additional moisture to stretch mark prone areas always helps. The quality of this oil is incredible. It's not greasy. Has a great, subtle scent. Doesn't cause skin irritation. 100% worth the price.

I use this on my whole body an it is amazing! It dries quick and leaves my skin soft and smooth! The bottle is beautiful and sturdy! It smells so nice!

I’m in my third trimester now and this is my second bottle. I’ve been using it since early pregnancy. The texture is very lightweight, not greasy at all, and absorbs quickly. The scent is gentle and relaxing. I use it on my belly, lower back and hips, and my skin feels so comfortable. Highly recommend!

I don't know if I use too much.. but it doesn't seem to dry as quick as everyone is saying. I wouldn't put my normal clothes over it. I put it on before bed so it doesn't matter if it's a little greasy still. I love the smell and the feel. The dropper is weird but works plenty fine. I use a cream in the morning and between the two I rarely itch. When I am itchy it's not bad and I think it's from tight clothing. No stretch marks so far, but I didn't get stretch marks with my daughter either and didn't use this product. I am petite and currently 16 weeks with twins. I plan to buy again.
