Great kids educational activity
8 year old son loves flying, timing, and tracking his flights with this plan. Getting the other kits so he can compare flight times.

Nice kit
This is a fun kit. It's easy to put together and flies fairly well. You do need a bit of a sloping hillside for a good flight. It's best to do this at a grassy park as the landing gear bumps loose when it lands; however, the gear doesn't break. It's a bit on the heavy side so you really have to wind the rubber band. This leads to high torque from the propeller and that causes it to pull to the right. Can't really complain, that's just physics. I bought it for my 2-1/2 year old daughter. It's a little too difficult for her to fly it, but she gets a real kick out of making me fly it for her. She also digs the stand so I keep it displayed in her room.

Something to do when bored.
I had it out today but it is for children I just have a love for flight. This is a good kit.

What a let down
Really surprised the reviews aren’t worse. The plane hardly flies. Putting it together was the best part. Seeing the disappointment on my kid’s face was the worst part.

Easy for a child to assemble.
I bought this as a gift for my 11yo and it was so simple to put together he did it by himself. It has withstood multiple crashes and collisions with trees and older brothers. He’s had lots of fun with it and it is holding up to the abuse just fine. The wings are a little nicked up but it still flys great!

Does not fly well
It is incredibly durable, but so heavy it only flies for 10ft, usually at an incline, stalls and nose dices. After 2 full winds the propeller stops winding the rubber band and skips. Just buy a cheap balsa wood version. You'll get much more enjoyment.

Flight was good but with short time the plane bands snapped and plane was damaged but good product

Wished I can find another float plane like this one. It was a project for a dementia person. he really enjoyed this puzzle.
