What a wonderful invention. Thank you! It was great allowing my dog to have her independence to use the dog door and wear an e-collar. It took her a minute to get the hang of going through the door with it, but she figured it out. I LOVE it. Much less bumping into furniture and things as well. From now on this is the only collar I plan to use. I love how versatile it is for different sizing as well. Great Invention. *Update* I’ve used ONLY this style medical collar for my 3 dogs now for years. I have purchased five through the years. Love, Love, Love these. They are sturdy, allow for perfect sizing, permit my dogs to utilize pet doors, their cages, and walk through the house without bumping into everything. Their ears are outside so they can hear and their air can circulate better. I was able to personalize one as my dog had two surgical sites; 1 on her belly and 1 top of her head. I just hot glued a portion of the removed front extension to cover her head- and padded it, worked perfectly.

This was recommended by my vet. It is a huge improvement from the old fashioned huge cone. I had a couple problems. The instructions are not easy to follow. The first 2 times I used it, it popped open an was basically a big viser. I had to tape it. I'm hoping this will work.

This product did not work well for my dog. While it did keep him from chewing on/licking his tail, the edges around his face easily rubbed and caused irritation. Now, I know that some of that was him trying to get it off, but even after adding padding, it still managed to scratch up his face in different spots - I will be going back to something that doesn't have edges he can open his face up with! If your dog doesn't try to get things off their face/neck, then go for it - it definitely gave more freedom of movement since it has a smaller... footprint? It was much easier for him to get around, it just didn't work for us.

Hard to figure out how to put on, no instructions, good protection if you can get it on, but very easy for the dog to take off. Don’t waste your money

My dog is an odd mix breed, Spitz/Maltese but looks a lot like a corgi. No other type of collar (e-collar or inflatable or even a muzzle) has kept him from licking/chewing any booboo he's ever had. He is OCD so he only makes it worse. This is adjustable, easy to use & so much better for my baby. He can still eat/drink & pick up his toys. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

Really wanted to like this but after following instructions and fitting it properly, my dog can still reach his paws to lick them so it doesn't work for us.

This is a fabulous idea, and works pretty well, although my elderly Cocker has figured out how to chew her foot anyway. I love the fact that the inner ear gets more ventilation with this cone than with any other style. I use this one when I can keep an eye on her, and it lets her move quite easily.

I was SO FORTUNATE, to find not only the NOVAGUARD which is perfect for a dog's protection if the area to be protected is from the neck on down, but I haven't seen the OPTIVIZOR YET ON AMAZON--which I also used with my wonderful 17 y/o dog who had 3 eye surgeries. My dog came home with the TORTURE DEVICE called an (E-Collar...YUK!)which the dog hated. The PROVIZOR PRODUCTS are SPECIAL as the dog can SEE THROUGH CLEAR MATERIAL...they do not bump into the furniture, and they get used to wearing the entire product line, within minutes, compared to the Elizabethan Collar...again...YUK! The Novaguard and all Pro!vizor products were designed with DOGS" COMFORT in mind. My dog as example, came home after Cataract surgery one time, and then a revision of the surgery a second time. The 1st time he came home, he just stood in place--wouldn't walk, wouldn't look at me, just gave me one of those, WHY ARE YOU TORTURING ME WITH THIS E-COLLAR; I THOUGHT WE WERE "BEST FRIENDS" When I searched online to find a different device, didn't even know an Aussie guy, whho loved his own dog, designed the Provizor line! It took a lot of searching but the people who own the company were so WONDERFUL, they made certain, I got the OPTIVIZOR AND NOVAGUARD within 2 days. AS SOON AS I PUT THESE ON MY OLD DOG, HE NOT ONLY GAVE ME A SMILE, HE DID WHAT HE ALWAYS DID---HE FLEW IN AND OUT HIS DOGGY DOOR, LIKE THE WIND. He ate, slept and walked with the PROVIZOR devices on, as if he didn't even know, he was wearing it! He had to wear his protective gear for 3 weeks each surgery, so if I had to watch him bump into walls, tables--you name it--wearing that E-Collar once more, i'd have removed it in spite of Drs. orders. THIS DESIGN FOR DOGS, CATS, HORSES SHOULD WIN A NOBEL PRIZE FOR THINKING OF THE PETS' SAFETY, COMFORT AND MOBILITY. Obviously, I could go on and on but this design is similiar to when Penecillin was invented.
