Unlike speaker stands designed for Gen 1 PLAY 5 and many "universal" stands, these stands are custom designed compatible for SONOS PLAY 5 and and SONOS FIVE and built for function and aesthetics. Top plate accommodates both FIVE orientations, horizontal or vertical (Note: some other stands only support vertical orientation); built-in ridge behind speaker to backstop the FIVE; arch in the front to match the FIVE arch, hiding all unsightly edges and corners. Wire channel hides FIVE cord and allows it to come out at a full range of heights. Joints mitered, corners rounded, edges tapered as a high quality furniture piece should be. There is a built-in ridge behind the speaker to backstop it.
